We had an amazing time. Cristian (host and owner) and his family are so
welcoming, very friendly and help us a lot trough the city. He gave us
very good recommandations. The rooms are simply breathtaking. I had to
fight the desire to stay in my room all day! The coffee is so good, and
the breakfast very gourmet. It is very very clean, the situation is
perfect : right beside the main street, the old city and the bus
station. Very easily connected to the airport. I would recommend it

The B&B is in a great location to both central station for bus and train, and city tourist center, the area is very safe and convenient. The owner of the hotel is soooo nice and helpful. We have to leave very early the next day before 7:30, but normally the breakfast is in 8:30, so the owner specially prepare breakfast for us at 7:00, that is impossible in any other six cities we traveled this time in Sicily. The design of the room is very good and we give it a name "Catania Style":) We lov.
Everything... A romantic happy place, feels like home. Lovely decorated room, clean and quiet, comfortable bed, huge modern bathroom. The owner Christian and his family are the nicest people ever, always of a great help and creating all that friendly home surroundings. Highlight of the stay is the breakfast right in a big stylish Italian kitchen with a huge table to be shared with other guests full of all that amazing Italian food offered in great amounts. One of the best places I ever stayed.
Nice homely atmosphere. Friendly host. I stayed in a spacious double room. Large varied breakfast around a big table in the family kitchen. Wifi connection. Fridge at your disposal, useful for picnics. No lift but very clever self-made system to lift your heavy luggage up, so no problem. Well situated, a 10 minute walk from the main station and close to main street. The "red-light" district nearby is nothing to be afraid of, we walked past dozens of times at night and it was absolutely fine.
We arrived to the hotel late at night but the owner was very friendly, gave us a map and explained us what we shouldn´t miss when we are in the city. It´s very close to the main city attractions.
Breakfast was very good and many types of food you can choose (not only typical "sweet Italian breakfast", but also ham, olives, different types of pastry etc.)
The furnishing and vintage style of our room was great.
Cristiano was a very helpful and friendly guest, full of useful advice about the city. Large and nicely decorated room under the roof, with a view on the sea, and private bathroom. Great breakfast at a common table with the other guests, in a friendly atmosphere. Good situation, within a few minutes walk from the centre.

give me a travel imformation, map, and recommend delicious restrant and
so on.. So we look around the city very easily. And they offer three
towel per person every day! So nice! And there is a personal safe. It

Small family owned vintage style B&B. Spacious room with balcony. Family style big breakfast table got us brief acquaintance and exchange of travel impressions with nice danish family. Location is very close to the center. Last but not least, proper hair dryer in bathroom :).

We enjoyed our stay at Solsicily, the host was very nice and willing to help. They gave us some recommendations for restaurants and other useful information. The place is close to the center and there is parking near the place.

We arrived at night and at first location appeared a bit shady. It was completely OK during the day though :).
Early breakfast till 9:30 AM. The nicest beaches are not in close reach. Car rental or bus-serves needed to see the lovely area.
No lift but we knew this.
The B&B is on the 3rd floor, but this was no problem for me. The owner helps if guest find it hard to carry their luggage. Walking home at night cautious and fearful minds should avoid the smaller lanes between the cathedral and the hotel, which during the day might be interesting places to see for those who are interested in history and social history - and who don't mind facing the darker sides of the town.
Catania. Its insecure. My dslr was snatched away just two blocks from
this B&B in broad daylight.
