We had a wonderful staying in bianca's place. We had a little palace to stay. Big bedroom, comfortable living room and clean bathroom. What we really loved about the place is the fact that we were served by a lovely young couple which owned the place. Also the dog bianca was a real highlight. She was unobtrusive and so sweet. Every morning we were served with fresh cappuchino and a big breakfast buffet. We had always good conversations with them and they were really helpful in giving tips abo.
alle vurderinger » The warm, friendly welcome around the table with a much appreciated cup of tea. They passed on a message received from my friend before my arrival with voluntary, generous offers of help in returning the call and making another to my previous B&B. At 70+ with no cell phone it was a welcome bonus. Loved my room with high cupola shaped ceiling and floor of old polished tiles in the central area and edged with wooden strip floor. Surprise view of the harbour from the minute balcony. Sincere. Perfectly located in the center of Catania, very nice and helpful hosts that speak good English, tasty breakfast and wonderful view from the windows (the old church of St.Placido). You need a few minutes to be in front of all highlights of Catania and just in front of the building there is a bus stop to go to the airport. The hosts Lea and Franchesco were welcoming and friendly. They were a great resource for exploring Catania and surrounding areas. Nothing was too much trouble.Lea especially loved to share her passion for the best must try food in Catania.The breakfast was the best we have been served so far in Italy. Lea and Francesco were very nice and helpful. Room was excellent regarding cleanliness comfort and location. The smell was really nice and it gave you the feeling of how clean they are. I will surely go back and stay for a couple of days. Location very near to the center and 5 minutes to the station. Lea & Francisco were warm & gracious hosts. Provided a homey atmosphere whose advice was spot on for things to see & do. Breakfasts were superb. B&B Bianca was clean, comfortable & easily reached by public bus from airport. Excellent location, near Duomo, market and shopping. Lea and Francisco are great to work with for reservations, assisting with travel plans and any needs for our stay. The accommodations were great as well. The private car park was an added plus. Location is close to historic sites and the market. Everything, great people in Lea and Francesco (and their dog and cat), fantastic breakfasts, great location, wise advice on where to eat, tours, things to see and do in Catania, the quirky feel of the B&B, we really enjoyed our stay. The owners of B&B Bianca were extremely friendly and helpful, prepared a delicious breakfast, the B&B is particularly well situated, beautifully decorated and has good bath infrastructure, high ceilings, fan+A/C. Lea and Francesco were very helpful and friendly, concerned to make the visit as pleasant as possible. The location is perfect for access to the center city sights and ristoranti, as well as the seaport and airport. Really friendly and kind couple who run the B&B; spared no effort in making us feel comfortable. The room (an apartment really!) was spacious and spotless, and furnished in a lovely and homey way. It`s our honey moon journey in Sicily, we got the warm welcome and sweat surprise gifts! Great location, lovely room decoration and warm couple boss!. The hospitality was excellent.Lea and Francesca were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed our stay very much. Nice place, friendly owner, beautiful decoration, big room, big bathroom... probably the cutest place in whole Catania :). Everything. Very spacious apartment in a great location. Well equiped kitchen. Would definately recommend. -. Having to close the windows to the traffic noise at night. The bed was a fold out sofa and was ok for a night or two but probably not for a longer stay. Nothing at all. Nothing. Our bed was not very good, yet ok for short stay. Catania doesn't sleep, and there was noise outside all night long. The street which goes through San Placido is an access to that which leads along the port. On the other hand, we had a view of San Placido church and the port, which more than made up for the noise. Parking was a minor problem to the congestion of catania. The city (Catania) was not as beautiful as the other places we were in Sicily. Nothing. No wifi!! This is one of the reasons we booked it- we were given a laptop for internet. minor probs that don't really matter- no chopping board or good knife in the kitchen. The tv in the bedroom is blown.
