Sheila and Frank are delightful inkeepers. We had booked our reservation on-line 5 minutes before we showed up at their door and we were greeted as if we were friends they'd been expecting for months. The set up of the cottages was great, loads of space and with all the little touches it was a 'home away from home' the kitchen was well stocked with utensils.
Great base for discovering East Clare, and a good venue for celebrating...the club house catered for over 100 family members on the Saturday (many of whom we're also staying the weekend) great value! I can imagine it would also be a great venue for wedding receptions etc...

This is a superb guest house just outside the lovely town of Ballyvaughan. Its has a beautiful view of the bay. The rooms are charming, and theirs was perhaps the best breakfast we have had in Ireland-which is saying a lot. -
This is a lovely, accommodating place with friendly faces and fantastic food. The honor bar was a really nice addition to the amenities, too. Wish we could have stayed longer and would recommend Drumcreehy House to friends.

The hotel is modern but built in castle style and is close to all the attractions of North Clare, cliffs of Moher, Lahinch, the Burren and Lisdoonvarna itself. Breakfast was great. Would love to visit again. -

It was a very friendly, family run hotel. The food was of excellent quality and good value. Our room was more than adequate for our stay. We only stayed one night but wished were staying longer. Gerry and Pauline were wonderful hosts, and we had a fantastic time at Ballyvaughan Lodge (we stayed for 3 nights). It is in a great location for touring the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Galway Bay and much more. We would book there again in a heartbeat. and gracious, we were upgraded for free to a suite, and the facilities

This was by far the best place we stayed in Ireland. It was within
walking distance to the local pubs and downtown stores and the
accommodations allowed for two couples to stay comfortably in one place.
Marian, the host, was amazing and the restaurant was also some of the
best food in Ireland. I definitely recommend the Roadford House and
Doolin to those traveling to the area.

We arrived a little late in the evening but Noreen gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. We stayed in the family bedroom which had one room with two single beds connected to a room with a double bed. We were very comfortable. We rode horses the next morning and Micheal and their two sons helped us and we went on a tour of the farm. The family was great, the food tastey, and the accommodations very comfortable.

The rooms were very pretty, cleaned and confortable, and the breakfast so delicious! The owners were also kind and available to suggest places to visit.
Even if the B&B is not in the center of a town, the site is very suggestive, near to a good pub and surrounded by many wonderful places: perfect if you travel with a car.
