Left my wallet behind me in my room after I had checked out. The hotel, Tommy, actually rang me re the wallet. I was on my way home to Waterford. The staff were first class, so helpful in every way. I will stay there again.

for a sole traveler it was perfect, they were very helpful and made me feel at home,
no lift as i have arthritis it was hard going up the stairs once I was up I didnt want to leave my room : (
up for a graduation and i found your accomidation perfect for our one night stay. we will be there again and we have recomended it to our family for next week for their stay in galway. thank you

Location! Near everything you'd want to see and enjoy, but off the street enough so that it's not very noisy when you're trying to sleep. Best city we visited our entire trip.

The raucus noise from the kitchen directly below our window was a bad surprise. The staff already answered.

I loved the room. It was a nice quaint room, suited for one person. Everything was in its place and was welcoming as soon as you walked in. The staff were lovely. I arrived late for check-in and my keycard was left at reception when I did arrive. Communication was excellent.

Galway is incredible. Eyre Square Townhouse is a fantastic value with an incredible location that our group enjoyed tremendously. It was our only accommodation in Ireland that provided everything as promised, with a central location to boot. Chris and Eamonn at the front desk were both fantastically polite and helpful.

The hotel was clean and in good condition. Though not on the Eyre Square, it is very central. The staff was nice and made good suggestions about where to go.
Just about everything. My back room was fairly quiet at night despite a huge crowd in town. Very clean, good wifi, good assistance with luggage up and down the stairs. Comfortable bed.
The windowless bathroom where, in order to make the automatic light turn off, the door needed to be shut. Smelt very musty, unfresh. Would improve if the door could be left ajar.

Eamon, the fellow, that checked us in was the star of EST. He was very friendly upon check-in. The next day we had a glitch in our travel plans and he spent over 30 minutes with us helping us to find a solution to our travel conflicts. He was so helpful and pleasant. The location is great.

The best thing about this place is its location. It is right in the center of everything and, since we depend on public transportation to get around, it was perfect for us. The room was comfortable.
Being in city center, there is bound to be street noise. We could have closed our window to shut some of that out, but we left it open. About 2AM, it got a little noisy because of people returning home from the bars.

Location and cost
The staff were amazing, so friendly and really helpful running up to the weekend we were staying there. Eamonn was helpful and gave us good advice on where to in Galway. The rooms were spacious and clean, very comfortable and the location was excellent. It was just off Eyre Square so everything was a stones throw away. Would definitely book this again.
The shower door was broken but it didn't cause any hassle.

Location is perfect - so central. The guy at reception was very friendly. This was my third time staying here - location is the big seller, no worrying about taxis as it's so close to everything
Because it's so central it can be quite noisy, also the tiled floors means can hear the guests above but these are minor complaints.
All the staff were extremely helpful. The location just off Eyre Square couldn't have been better, it was so central. We were worried that there would be noise from the pub our room overlooked, but there wasn't - not sure if that was just luck!
Have to go up steep stairs to reception, no rooms on ground level, and no lift - not exactly wheelchair friendly!
