Our trip to the Ash Grove House was wonderful, the staff was helpful and extremely friendly. They went out of their way to help us and make our stay wonderful. Breakfast in the morning was great, the food was yummy and personalized. The staff was wonderful helped book us a tour of the Cliffs and gave us directions to take a beautiful route down the coast. They made wonderful dinner recommendations and were so accommodating! The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and decorated . alle vurderinger »
Everything. It was easy to find, had parking, warm greeting, very nice
room, comfy beds, easy walk into Galway and the sites with information
provided by the manager. We are two girlfriends travelling and felt very
safe. Breakfast was delicious...we actually booked because of the other
comments on the pancakes and they did not disappoint . The salmon and
eggs were divine as well. Great choice.
Very quiet and restful. Outstanding, cooked-to-order hot breakfast.
Friendly, thoughtful host: for example, after learning that we are
vegan, Angela went out of her way to mention what turned out to be an
excellent vegan restaurant to us. Reasonable walk to city center for
those who are fit and traveling lightly. Excellent value for the money.
The staff are amazing. I arrived late and and the lady got up to give me a hairdryer!
I love how there was an option for a healthy breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled egg!
The rooms were lovely and the bathroom absolutely spotless!
Amazing place! I will be coming again!.
Ash Grove House is well-located for walking to central Galway. Proprietor was very enjoyable to converse with. Room was clean and quiet. e were able to keep our auto in the small carpark right in front of the house. Nice breakfasts both days we were there.
Luxurious, quiet room that was tastefully decorated and well appointed.
Very good breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
They gave us a very helpful map of the city, and the quickest ways to reach the city centre. This was a great help.
Great location.
Excellent food. Friendly staff. The location is far enough away from the center of Galway to ensure a quiet night's rest, but close enough to walk there in ten minutes or less. Felt like staying with a relative rather than sleeping in a hotel.
The simplicity of it all.The owner new my name as soon as we arrived and showed us to the room.It was compact but spotless, well equipped with a very comfy bed, well laundered linen and towels.A well run and organised establishment.
The ideal location in Galway. Just 10 minutes walk into town and to the pubs......Very friendly people, breakfast was extremely good and we liked it immensely. Tks for everything and we will hopefully be back one of these days.
Wonderful little place -- very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, wonderful hosts and staff! Great find, will definitely recommend, great value. Easy walk into town, had dinner at The Pie Maker -- terrific little place!.
Very nice city. Accomodation was the best of the Bed & Breakfast what I had never ever before? It was very clean, high level service and very romantik enviroment. In my opinion 5 Star Bed & Breakfast Accomodation.
Quiet setting only minutes walk into centre of Galway. Lovely comfortable rooms. Fabulous breakfast and Lynty, manager, an absolute sweety who could not have been more helpful. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Great location, quiet, but very close walk to city center and available parking. Room faced the street and was on the ground level, but noise wasn't too much of an issue.
everything! The very friendly staff, the refurbished room in antique style, the breakfast!!!! like a 3-course meal, with pancakes served at the table. I'll come back!.

the staff was lovely enjoyed my stay.
Hosts were friendly and efficient.
Very close to city center.
everything was good.
one word Excellant.
The breakfast!!.
Nothing.
Extremely hard to find, especially with the inadequate letsbookhotel.com map.
We got lost walking from the train station, and without the kindly
assistance of 7 or so strangers along the way, we would have never found
this B&B. After arriving, we were given a great map. Perhaps Ash
Grove could arrange for it to be posted on the letsbookhotel.com website.
Bathroom is cramped.
Parking is restricted; you may have to park in a public pay zone.
The sausages were not as good as the rest of the finely cooked and presented Full Irish.
I'm ( nit -picking). Plenty of toast, everything piping hot.
Bathroom was a bit small.
the bathroom was a bit narrow. Stout people might have problems getting into the shower.
Ordering breakfast night before needed to be remembered.
In comparison to other B&B it was a bit more like a hotel, E.G. the
breakfast had to be ordered the night before and the atmosphere at
breakfast was a bit anonymous (which is not really a problem, however we
liked the family-like feeling in other B&Bs better).
Nothing.
Location of room (ground floor). Located next to parking area, so noisy. Also the neighbors were a bit noisy at night. Neither of these were the B&B's fault--just luck of the draw as to the room we got.
The bathroom was a little on the small side but the positives offset this.
Our room was on the lower level and due to the house design the floors above us were quite creaky. Wouldn't be a big deal if you are upstairs or if no one is above you.
The size of the bathroom, the inaccessibility of the courtyard (for smoking guests, late in the evening).
Slightly expensive.
Pillows :( very flat.
Bathroom too small.
nothing.
They made us wait 10mins outside when we arrived.
