In Doolin, on Ireland’s West Coast, the Atlantic View House has views over the Cliffs of Moher. Free WiFi is available. The spacious rooms at the Atlantic View all feature TVs, radios and safety deposit boxes. Hairdryers and tea/coffee-making facilities are also provided. Most rooms have power showers in the en-suite bathrooms. Each morning a traditional cooked and continental breakfast is served in the dining room, which has ocean views. The centre of Doolin is 10 minutes’ walk away and has several restaurants serving freshly caught fish. Doolin Pier is 5 minutes’ walk from the guesthouse and has regular ferries to the Aran Islands. Stunning countryside surrounds the Atlantic View, including the famous Burren area.

This was a fantastic B&B! Located within a 10 min walk of the city center, we found it to be perfectly serene. Our room was comfortable and quiet with an amazing view of the Cliffs of Moher, the ocean and the countryside. Breakfast was tasty and consisted of the basics, but was more than adequate. They are located only a 10 min walk from the pier, so we enjoyed taking a stroll there for a lovely sunset our first night there and to catch our ferry to Inisheer the next morning. The owner .
alle vurderinger » This was one of our favorite B&B. Rooms had a great view of Ciffs of Mohar, Aran Island. Out in the country, by the sea. The house was large and roomy with several places for group relax, play cards, read, or text wifi. Located about 5minues walk to the local pub, O'Connor, Next to a golf course. It was really relaxing. 10Min drive to the Cliffs and Burrens National Parks. It is surrounded with lots to do and see. Great location. Best overall was their breakfast. They offered and cooked fre. Eileen and Kevin (our hosts) were just wonderful in making us feel at home and answering all our questions and providing guidance on how to get to the Cliffs of Moher, since we did not have a car. What a spectacular view from this B & B!! We could see the "Cliffs" directly from our second floor room - just amazing. The full breakfast each morning was terrific and we could walk into Doolin from this B & B to enjoy pubs and the shops. All very convenient, yet very quiet. We would rec. The guesthouse / B&B is located on a quiet road near the Doolin Ferry terminal, couple of km away from Doolin village and nearly 10 km north of the Cliffs of Moher. Our room was away from the road and offered breathtaking views of the Atlantic and the rugged coast of Clare. The staff was very helpful - they enquired about ferry times and even reserved seats for us - although we had to skip the tour later. Breakfast room was bright and spacious, with both hot and cold breakfast options. Our hostess (Eileen, I believe) was fantastic! She was warm and friendly and gave us info abut the surrounding area after we asked! Very helpful for the travelers on the go! She was kind and courteous and the Atlantic Ouse itself was absolutely amazing! It was clean, and bright and we had a choice of rooms and menu in the am before we departed! I would definitely suggest the Atlantic House to anyone traveling through the area!. Walking distance from the ferries to the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher. Great breakfasts and a spectacular view of the cliffs from the dining room. We stayed there 2 nights coming and going from the Aran islands, ( where we also spent 2 nights ). Eileen was so kind and let us leave our car there while we were out on the islands. Doolin was a fantastic place to stay! Best traditional music, food, and great shopping. Everything, a lovely comfortable room, bed perfect for dodgy backs, quiet peaceful location with wonderful views of the ocean and of Doolin pier. Tasty choices for breakfast. We were visiting Lissdoonvarna for the festival so it was lovely to be able to leave all the partying when we had enough and retire to the peacefulness of Doolin. Alantic View was a beautiful place. Lovely room, comfortable and beautiful view. Very clean, Staff so helpful with sights and recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Great breakfast!! We had a great time seeing the area. Music in town also great. Close walk to town. Hostess even dried our clothes that got soaked from the rain. Great accommodation and only a five minute walk to the Aran ferries. Proprietors very helpful regarding weather and ferry bookings. Stayed two days and used as base to explore The Burren which turned out to be good move as ferry's were cancelled one day due to weather. Good choice of pubs in nearby village for evening meal. We adored the Atlantic House!!! We loved Eileen who picked us up from the bus stop, and welcomed us to her home! She was charming! Our view from our room looked out over the Clliffs of Moher, and it was breathtaking!!! We will definitely revisit the Atlantic House, on our next trip to Ireland!!!! Thank you Eileen!!!. Atlantic View is beautifully situated overlooking the North Atlantic. We were within walking distance to the lovely village of Doolin and all of its charm as well as the pier from which sailed the ferry to Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. The rooms were pretty and clean and the food was excellent!. The place is great. We had some issues with the sygic navigation not being able to find the place. Moreover, there are a few other places in the area that have similar name. Although the host waited for us and talked us through to get to the plave I would suggest in the future to e mail the directions. The view of the Atlantic ocean and the back of the cliffs are amazing from this location.The owner is always so friendly and goes out of her way to make her guests happy. It is away from the craziness of the bars and is a good place to rest as well. Our second visit to Atlantic View. Our spacious room had a stunning view of the Cliffs of Moher. Cows were grazing in meadows by the ocean, and Irish hares ran across the fields. Atlantic View is on the same road as the pier, and O'Connor's pub in the small community of Doolin. It is a very convenient location. The staff was very gracious and helpful. We got lost getting there and we were talked through the approach by the innkeeper. The place is lovely. Unfortunately, our stay this time was very short. Doolin is a very good area, centrally located for many attractions. Perfect location if you want to go to the Cliffs or the Aran Islands, 10 mins to the first and less than 5 to the pier to get to the latter. The room was perfect with a large and attractive en-suite. a five minute walk to the Arans ferry and they allowed us to leave our car in their parking area while we over nighted on Inis Mor even though we were unable to stay with them upon our return!. We arrived when it was dark and woke up with the Cliffs of Moher out our window. Helpful, friendly staff and the best Irish breakfast we had on our vacation. Lovely stay - felt like being in an authentic, beautiful home instead of a commercial hotel. The B&B is simply wonderful! The room was big and lovely furnished, bathroom comfortable, the breakfast delicious. Beutiful pubs are reachable in 3 minutes driving. If I will be back in Doolin for sure I will stay again in Atlantic View House!. Very nice facilities. Clean large rooms and lounge. Friendly owners. Only a minutes drive into Dingle town but in the countryside where there was no congestion or noise. Great point to start the drive around Dingle in the morning. Good breakfast. It has a great view of the Cliffs of Moher and the start of the hiking trail is a short walk from the hotel. BEST in Doolin! Atlantic View location is perfect. We were able to see the Cliffs of Mohr from our window, (Which was a good thing as the next day it was fogged in!) Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. This B& B is close to the pier from which you can take a trip to the Cliffs of Mohr or the Aran Isles. The name discribes this B&B perfectly-- perfect location within walking distance from the town-- great staff and rooms. There are no dinner options available nearby, and one has to drive down to the village. It was cool the entire week we were in Ireland but we were warm here at night! So really, no complaints!. Nothing. Weather was rainy, poured as we walked in town. Nothing. Booking a family room and it wasn't there for us when we arrived. The helper was unclean and had HUGE white flakes falling from her hair. We could not eat once we saw her in the dining room serving breakfast one of the two mornings we were there. Nothing....perfect!. Make sure you don't get confused with the signs for "Atlantic View Apartments" along the main road, this is Atlantic View HOUSE and there is only a sign right in front of the accommodation. Hard to find, prepare a good map or a GPS. there was not tap water or water available in the room and the nearer shop was at 10 mins distance by car. Not a darn thing. The room was a little hot due to the warm weather while we were there and there was a issue with the toilet not flushing properly. wi-fi signal not real strong in room. Nothing! Wonderful stay. Location a little far (15 minutes walk) from main Doolin's pubs but it is on the sea shore!. Staff were nice,but not as friendly as we found at other B&b's. The family room didn't offer enough privacy for our (2) older daughters. We should have booked (2) rooms. Room became very cold at night. While the staff were good, and quite polite, no-one introduced themselves, or gave any idea of their roles nor volunteered any extra local information, which made it seem rather impersonal. Loved everything!. The weather - the locals were keen to tell about the lovely day they had two weeks ago. Hefting suitcases upstairs, after a long drive. no fridge in the room. Nothing.
