It was so clean, and you didn't check in, you got an email telling
you how to get into the hostel / your room. I arrived at 2 am and
went right in and went to sleep. It is nicely decorated and so many
things to read to show you what to do. The owner called a bus for me to
get me back to the airport and I saw her eating lunch with some guests -
she is very nice. I felt very safe.

12. We needed affordable lodging near shopping and public
transportation. Downtown Reykjavik Apartments (dra) met and exceeded our
requirements. The dra is just 2 blocks from one of the main bus stations
in Reykjavik. From that point, one can travel anywhere in the City.

We booked the smallest and cheapest available room (the double studio). When we arrived, finding our keys and room was very easy.
The room was small but very clean - the bedding smelt very fresh. We also saw a family studio which was bigger and again very clean and pleasant.
I asked to upgrade our room as I wanted a bit more space (the prices are very reasonable and I was happy to pay more). However when the owner and Thora heard it was the last leg of our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a 3 bed

EVERYTHING.....the staff was way cool, the place itself was great and in

is the perfect land mark and got me home many a night...Breakfast was

Resepsjonsservicen var meget god. - The staff was superb! The desk personnel were extremely knowledgeable and helpful regarding the sites to visit, excursions to take and places to eat. The cleaning staff was diligent in getting your room clean and tidy yet left personal items as you left them.

The breakfast was simple but adequate and we also got breakfast at 5.30am before we headed to the airport on our last morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here on a return visit.

Hotel Klettur is a new, beautifully designed scandinavian hotel. It is lean and clean, but very friendly. I was really impressed how nice it was. The smorgasbord breakfast was lovely with really good coffee. The spaces are simple, but well designed and the staff was extremely pleasant and very helpful. -
