The gentleman in charge of the hostel (Szilard) was extremely helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to explain the map of the city to us, pointing out what sights to see, what to avoid, what times of day to visit etc. He was a mine of information and made us feel very much at home. Having some inside information and guidance on the city really helped us to get the most from our journey. Thanks Again Szilard!.
I was delighted with the location as it is very close to Keleti train station. I found the manager to be excellent with his suggestions of wheelchair friendly sightseeing and public transport. I loved the four poster very comfortable bed. It felt it to relaxing place. It was so handy to have a supermarket called Aldi very close to it. I liked it having a lift for my son's wheelchair.
After I book this hostel, I received an email from them telling how to get there so I have no troubles to find the hostel, although it's inside an old building and without a sign outside. So please read the email carefully, it really helps.
The staff is very helpful, they'll tell you all the things you need to know. And inside the hostel, it's clean and tidy.
I got what I expected from this hostel. A clean, friendly and guest-
orientated place for a short visit. The hostel is close to the railway
station Keleti /which wa the most important for me/ and also
close enough to any touristic points in the city.
It is close to Keleti train station and bus stops to the center. The mixed dorm is decorated with character. Strong and fast wifi connection. Szilard is very helpful for advices about where and how to go in Budapest.
great service! He gave me a address, where can i have great change. That's the most nice change rate, i have been seen in Budapest. It's very friendly. The place was roomy, especially considering the price.
Good location, close to the budapest keleti station. Friendly & helpful staff, who is very happy to give advices on our trip. Share bathroom & toilet are clean enough.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Clean and big rooms, quaint and filled with character. Towels, hairdryer is provided free.
close to Keleti train station (2 min walk), very friendly and helpful staff, funny interesting decor, wi-fi, kitchen.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Free hot drinks. Excellent WiFi reception. Excellent value for money.
The guy who is in charge was really great, he explained me about places
I definitely had to see in the city.

the boss of hotel is very very nice,it very near the trainstation.
Staff Very Helpful - Just what you need
Clean, Tidy
Cheap. Kind helpful friendly attractive staff . Cheap place to stay, friendly staff and a quiet place, big rooms and good showers. .
Less than 5min walk from train station, walking distance to city centre and tourist attractions, busy neighborhood, restaurants and cafes and supermarket are nearby, seperate toilet and shower inside the room, coffee is foc, ask as much info needed but not silly question as the owner will get impatiently irritated.
Staff is really nice and helpful. He gave excellent advices about the
thermal bathes, shopping opportunities and where to change money at best
rates. The kitchen could be used and even salt, spices, coffee and tea
was for free.
Hostel owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. A real peoples person.
Kitchen use was nice.
* Toilets are just right next to the "living room". It
isn't very convenient to use it while people are sitting
there to chat.
I spent only couple of hous there, for me it was ok for one night. I had
no problem at all.
I just noticed that It is not very clean as the room is dusty when I stayed there. I didn't mind much though. Poor lighting too.
Because the reconstruction of city. It's very difficult to find the location. I spend a half hour to find that...
Lights are not bright enough.
Location is abit far from the city centre, but it is very near the Train station and metro station.
nothing.
Quite difficult to find.
Finding the place. Behaviour of British guests. The beds weren't very good.
Rundown facilities, no lift and it is at 3rd floor, no signboard (make sure check email for very easy instruction to get there, otherwise will take forever to locate it).
In the rooms there was little space for some small things that I
didn't want to put into the wardrobe. On the wardrobe, which was not
very high, so I put my bag on it, there were loads of settled dust.
Finding the hostel was hell. If you see a pink "AVON" sign
that's it! It is on the 2nd floor of that bldg. There are no
markings from the outside to tell where this place is. Spend 1 hr
walking in circles to find it.
