My wife and I stayed at the Royal Hotel the last night of our stay in Greece. We were looking for someplace close to the airport, due to our early morning flight.
We were pleasantly surprised when, upon check-in, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a "Sea view room", which included breakfast, however, due to the fact that we would be

The staff! They are absolutely the best. Even before we arrived, they
made themselves available via email to answer all sorts of questions as
well as offer very helpful advice. Those interactions made us feel as if
we had friends waiting to greet us in Greece. This was especially
helpful since Thessaloniki was the start of our 17-day trip (via car)
throughout Greece. When we arrived at the airport at midnight (after
traveling nearly 24 hours from San Diego), three of our five pieces of

Incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. The hotel has a great garden and facilities for small children. Clean and big rooms (2 separate rooms + kitchen/dining room). Nearby beaches are breathtakingly beautiful.

Fabulous location on the sea front. We just took the double room with extra bed for the little one and room was clean (and cleaned regularly with fresh towels when we needed them) Staff were very friendly - and drinks service on the beach was excellent! (not to mention free sunbeds and parasols - and always some free) Safe beach for kids. It's not a big resort so nice and friendly but still plenty of restaurants to choose from just 5 mins drive down road.

Excellent location - just a minute away from the beach and the restaurants. We had very big, spacious and comfy room with pool view and it didn't get hot during the day. WiFi works perfectly in the room.

The villas are situated in the most fantastic sorroundings! Aparments are very comfortable, are fully furbished and have direct exit to the yard and the verrandas have the most wonderful panorama. There is a wonderful mixture of the most fabulos sea and olive greeneries. Extreme quietness, excellent air and weather is never too hot. -

Excellent position on the harbour. The breakfast and the dinner on the beach were amazing. I'd recommend Avra Hotel to everyone who wants relax and to enjoy beautiful beaches, especially to people who leave for romantc journey.
