  The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. It is about 2 blocks away from major public transportation (which is worth trying as the subways have become museums in their own right due to excavation finds in rec... hva folk sier » ent years). Strolling through the plaka and vendor stalls, you will find yourself next to the ancient agora on one side and rows of tony restaurants - Location: The location is great, just a few blocks from the Syntagma Square and in walking distance to the main attractions. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go

  Hotellets beliggenhet i forhold til severdigheter er perfekt, men det ligger litt for høgt i prisklasse. 50 - 60 Euro for høgt pr. rom - The public areas were very nice and well looked after! Especially the super jacuzziarea and sundeck with the most fantastic view. We also enjoyed the nice bar and lounge area. Excellent location in Athens!

  I would recommend the stay in this hotel. We stayed there two times: at the beginning of the vacations when we started from Athens and at the end whenwe flew back home via Athens. It's near a huge street where you can pick up a cheap taxi to the center or even take the metro!!!! The staff is amazing, so friendly and very helpful for anything a traveler might need!The breakfast is huge and offers a variety of food even for the picky ones!!!Would definitely stay again when visiting Athen
