We came from direction Grevena (inlands) and there were signs on the way leading us directly to the hotel. Also there is a map on the website. Hotel is brand new, from Xmas 2007. Room and bathroom were spacious and we loved the balcony with the Meteora view. Location is excellent as it is just away from the noise and only 200m from Kalampaka centre

The owners were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive, so we had a lot of good conversations with them. Wanderer, if you come to see Meteora, ensure you stay in this hotel. - The house was absolutely beautiful, it is only about a year old- so itoffers all of the modern luxuries, but has all of the old worldcharacter and charm that we wanted. Both the exterior and interior ofthe home reflect that the owners genuinely care for every detail.Thehome is as impressive as the town! Our stay here was so welcoming andenjoyable, we ended up extending our stay in Kalampaka.

The room was of exceptional standard for the price as was the hotel generally.
Importantly if coming by/leaving by train and bus, this hotel is perfectly located right between both. Further to this kalambaka is a great base for visiting meteora as KTEL runs a bus from town at 900/1100/1300 to great meteora and bus leaves a short walk from hotel.

very nice place, best location close to everything! stuff very helpful with information about Monastero and Kalambka. Because of strike we stayed one more night, for the same price they found room for us. Price is just perfect, for that what they are giving! Beds are big, fridge, tv, save, wifi, breakfast, shower, wc, balcon, huge cafeteria area with fireplace all that for just 25 € and 35€ with breakfast for two people. Rooms are very clean with good quality furniture!

personal level than at larger hotels, and they go out of their way to
ensure guests get the most out of their visit to the monasteries. Two

Our staying at Meteora was exellent due to unique nature and the family-like reception at Hotel Metheora. Dimitros is very nice host. His breakfast is already famous in internet community and his advices were very useful. His smile is unresistable. He met us at the station as we arrived late and a bit lost in Kalabaka darkness also he provided us by bag with breakfast as we parted by 5.40 train. The people who run this hotel went out of their way to assist and help us. This is a new hotel, with excellent facilities. We felt like we could have stayed a month. Fantastic position: on the Meteora side of town with amazing views of the rocks from our rooms; central but plenty of parking outside. Our two rooms were large, charmingly decorated, with a balcony and fridge each, and extremely good value. Excellent buffet breakfast included eggs and homemade cake. But above all, the welcome and attention from Spiros and Dita was outstanding; both speak perfect English. Spiros gave us useful information on seeing monasteries and where to eat afterwards.

Little bit displaced from the center, but there are plenty of parking spaces. Nice view, nice rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. A great pool and a great view of the Meteora. Good value for money.
