My staying was AMAZING! The room I got was incredibly awesome with a super view to the Acropolis that I've spent hours in bed staring at it before sleep! Very clean room, modern bathroom, you can control the temperature in the room (that was pretty cool) and what I liked most was the bed and pillows, those were very very comfy! The reception staff were very helpful, kind, polite and always up to help you with whatever you needed... They didn't even say a single "No" to me! Thank you so much Vangelis and the rest of the team (sorry for not knowing all your names) you guys are very nice! Thank you so much. The bar was awesome too, they have all kind of drinks and great views. It's very visited because of its popularity and it's totally worth it (for a coffe or tea, for breakfast/dinner, for drinks... for whatever!). If a waiter offers you the seats and the same one is bringing you the food/drinks, make sure you pay him/her instead of another waiter! Because they feel offended... It is true that you can hear the music in the night from your room depending on which floor you are. But oh come on! It's not that loud, don't listen to the moaners! I stayed for 5 nights and my five nights were just amazing. Thank you so much A for Athens! I will be coming back.

I just liked everything! Well , almost. The only drawback - that comes with the territory was that my room was having a "view" to the elevator's shaft. I did wanted a family room ( 1 huge bed +1 single) and I did enjoy the quietness of it. Would not have been possible with a view to the square. But they do have rooms with view to the Monastiraky square !
I had a minor issue with the staff charging me more than in the offer from letsbookhotel.com , but they were very kind the the extra money were shortly refunded to my account.

Views of Acropolis are great! The rooftop bar not only has the best view in town but is also a lively entertaining spot in it's own right. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great new modern hotel right in the midst of antiquity central!
Friendly staff who wanted to help make the most of our stay. Rooftop bar has million- dollar views of the Acropolis and surrounding area. Apartment-sized room was just what we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is walking distance to all the main attractions, too. We'll be back.
Location : just 1 minute from metro (no need to get taxi from airport,, taxi fare is fix amount which is 35 Euro but the driver always try to cheat^^, better to get metro 8 euro/adult, 4 euro/child,, takes about 45 minutes) The roof bar is great, staffs are very kind and helpful, room is enough for my 2 kids (11yrs, 13 yrs)

Terrific location with large window looking directly at the Acropolis. Beautiful. Breakfast in the roof room very good and also great views. Staff really helpful and nice to deal with.
Monasteraki is a loud square and had drummers and crowds until 10 pm or so. It did not bother us, but could be a big factor to others. The area around the hotel (like much of Athens) is graffiti strewn and not the cleanest. But it is interesting. Not for those who want to feel they are in the best neighborhood, but we liked the location near the Agora and lots of value (and good) restaurants.
The location is awesome! It is right on the square with a great view of the acropolis. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was fun.

The hotel is located in the center of Athens in a busy area. The view of the Acropolis from our room and from the terrace was fantastic. It was very pleasant to enjoy the view from our balcony. The breakfast at the terrace is very good. The staff is very helpful and very nice.

Excellent hotel centrally located near Monasteraki station and Acropolis. Great roof top bar and breakfast the best i had in Greece. Staff were fabulous and facilities terrific. I will certainly return to this hotel when in Athens!

This is a caution note rather than a dislike. Monastiraki Square is a busy spot so consequently at night the sound levels can be annoying. Usually by midnight things simmer down. Personally I found this atmosphere to be appealing but anyone looking for a quiet spot should go elsewhere.
Spending the last night in Athens, after summer holidays around Greece, A for Athens Hotel was the best choice. The hotel is located in the heart of Athens, at Monastiraki square, at a walking distance from all popular destinations, restaurants, bars, and shops. The room was in super clean condition, the bathroom very modern, bed very comfortable. At the spacious balcony, you could relax and enjoy the view to the lighted Acropolis. The hotel provided all I needed during my stay in Athens. Breakfast at the roof garden was just amazing. I will definitely visit again!

The staff was super friendly and helped with valuable information of where to go what to do out around the city. They told us about this excellent local restaurant where we dined the first night. Any problems we had were dealt with promptly. Although we were in the city centre we felt safe and secure. The view from the rooftop deck was the best and had a funky little bar.
The Hotel is situated right in the center of the Monastiraki square. Even just opposite the Monastiraki train station. So easy to get to both the Piraeus Port and the Air port. It's also close to the lovely restaurant Kuzina and Acropolis. The room had a lovely balcony with view straight to Acropolis. It was fantastic. Staff was very helpfull. Breakfast was nice and served from 7 o'clock at the roof terazzo.

The location was fantastic. We could see the Acropolis up on the hill just outside our window. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Location was very good for visiting the Acropolis and then walking over to Gazi for dinner.
Wifi was not working in the room during our trip. Hopefully it is fixed for future visitors.

The hotel is very well positioned, although the neighbouring streets are not very clean and seem somehow dangerous. It lack a nearby parking for people who travel by car.
