  We are on a 12 week cycle holiday and booked this hotel for 2 nights to rest and enjoy the thermal pools. We only have positive comments to make, from our greeting on arrival, the comfort of the room and the exceptional breakfasts.   Nice spacious room with a sunny terrace facing mountains and the sunbathing lawn; the room was very quiet, although it was immediately near the covered swimming pool. Great sauna facilities, and not very busy in August. The WiFi is reasonably fast. The breakfast is one of the best we had lately, and we travelled a lot this summer.   Good location. near the railway staton, and also next to a supermarket. The room was large, nice, well equiped, and with a balcony. The quality of the breakfast was good.   New owner, Peter, very friendly and informed. Room was beautifully remodeled with fabulous view of Lake Hopfensee and mountains in background. Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well.   Very nice hotel, easy to access with a free parking reserved to the guest of the hotel, the room had a beautifull view on the montains with a balcon around your room. The breakfast is self service buffet with a lot of choices and it's fresh. No noise and very quiet. To know : the staff speak only german and english.   We loved everything about Hotel Hilleprandt. It is a cosy hotel in a perfect location for walking and exploring town. Peaceful location; only a short walk into town and near enough to walk up the mountains and valley. We did some fantastic walks from here. Excellent breakfast. Slept perfecty every night! A wonderful place to stay for 8 nigh - Klaus and Christianne were great hosts and very helpful for advise on what to see and how to get to various places. The room we had was very comfortable with a balcony that looked out to the Zügspitze. Breakfast was also very good. It was good to be able to get a hot drink from the dining room during the day. The town centre of Garmish was very close as was the train station.
