  We loved the fact that the staff (seemed to be the owner) came around at dinnertime to ensure we enjoyed our meals and if there was anything the staff could do to make our stay more enjoyable. The family atmosphere is outstanding. - Buffet breakfast was excellent. Beerfest nearby.

  There was nothing I didn't like. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was welcoming and hospitable. I like that the hotel had a fitness center and sauna. The breakfast was also fantastic.   We highly recommend this cozy guest house. The price we paid (about 75 euro per night for two adults, with a very good breakfast buffet) is a very good deal in a tourist destination such as Oberammergau. The room was clean and modern but fairly small; some people may not like that a mostly-glass door exits directly to the outside (but there are th... hva folk sier » ick curtains to provide total privacy, but most rooms do not have this arrangement). The bathroom was immaculate (as was the room), and everything was - Where to start? We liked everything about this hotel. Otto and Eva are such amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and Otto is a mine of information about all sorts of local attractions and the history of Oberammergau. The room was perfect with a beautiful view towards the chairlift.
