I also was allowed to check in rather early according to the rules of the hotel. Breakfast is very tasty

Easy walking distance to central station or indeed right to city centre (half an hour or so) if you like a stroll. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room - no street noise that we heard. Nice little bar for a cheeky beer after a busy day. Public transport ans a few restaurants all in walking distance. Really enjoyed our city break here.

I enjoyed everything about the hotel from the friendliness of the owner/staff to the attention to detail on making their guest comfortable. The only comment I would make is that the wireless internet was not accessible from the rear building where my room was located. I had to come down to the lobby to do some work which was a little inconvienent

Location and price - The hotel was really closed to the main station, so the city center was completely accessible. The room was very confortable, maybe a bit little, but enough for a person only.

Parking nearby was convenient. Staff very friendly and the manager's English excellent so no worries there. Explained everything clearly on arrival so there was no need to contact him, although he said he is contactable 24 hours a day. We enjoyed the breakfast which filled us up for the days exploring. The hotel is located at the end of a long winding road next to a small church. Rooms are surprisingly modern. Be sure to get a room with a balcony to take advantage of the vistas. The food is excellent. Many bicyclists make the climb for a beer or a slice of cake. Be sure to walk the hiking trail to the edge of the ridge for a "Sound of Music
