Staff were friendly and aware of quiet times. Host/Owner was funny and genuinely inquisitive to improve your experience of Berlin.

An outstanding overall experience at Bananas: modern and comfortable rooms, multiple shared bathrooms so never a wait, high standards of cleanliness, shared kitchen with espresso machine, strong Wi-Fi provided throughout. Located next door to metro station and supermarket, cafes, restaurants within 5 minute walk. Prices were excellent and owners are very hospitable and welcoming.

Perfect location with its own little eco town feel. Perfect for jumping onto the underground to central Berlin. Great, cheap little coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Apartment absolutely spotless and tastful decor through out. -
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast were great. The apartment was clean and well accommodated.

You get what is being promised, inexpensive, decent, clean accommodation not far from the public transport. Actually the hotel is within walking distance (one U-bahn stop) to the center of West Berlin, but it is also quiet and free of the big city noise. Contrary to some old comments Internet has been improved and has worked fine. Breakfasts are very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Quiet location but near public transport and within walking distance of places we wanted to visit. Very well equipped and comfortable. The little kitchen even had teabags, fresh coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper, and cleaning materials, and the shower room had soap, shower gel and shampoo.
