very pleasent in general and great food would recommend this hotel to anyone. thank you Esplanade - Very friendly staff and a really good breakfast the next day. Slightly unexpected that it was primarily a young male couples hotel , however this was not an issue whatsoever. Really nice place to stay, my wife and i agreed that we would stay again

Clean, comfortable hotel with nice staff. It is at a walking distance to city center and other places of entertainment. Single room was roomy enough to feel comfortable and was equipped with a tv and a big wardrobe. Bathroom was also clean and comfortable to use. I will definitely stay there again when I visit Köln next time.

Small hotel, just a few rooms, but nice, especially a common area and breakfast place. Room for one person is really small, but bed was comfy and bathroom was very clean. It was nice to get in my room after my trip, 'cause Koln greeted me with windy and cold weather. Breakfast was fine, too. You can ask for eggs prepared as you like. Everything was a bit better than I expected.
