  Hotel location was very good for us because we attended the FrankfurtFair. The tram took us directly to the Fair. Hotel staff was veryfrendly and helpful. Rooms were nicely decorated and extremly clean. - Location - perfect / Staff - friendly and helpful / Excellent value for money

  We booked the Star for Thursday night only as the Mercure where we were based during the Bahá'í Conference did not have their special negotiated rate until Friday. We had a large, double aspect room with tea/coffee-making facilities, t.v. and en-suite shower.   This was a perfect place to spend the weekend with family. The hotel is centrally located, near public transport. There's a nice small park out front and the hotel-staff are very helpful. Also, the rooms are clean, breakfast is good and the living room was large enough for 6 people and 2 kids.   I have to say that the Hessischer Hof is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. All the staff are friendly and helpful especially the head waiter who accommodated us for dinner despite us not having a reservation, The room and public areas are furnished with real taste and style. When I remembered later in the evening I called and the lady at the reception was kind enough to locate my phone through house keeping. Excellent room, very clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom with rain shower and bathtub with l'occitane toiletries.   pretty well perfect for a layover in frankfurt. three stops in from the airport is the Hbf, where majority of the city's hotels are. It is also the Red Light District. Many reviews have issues with the area, but this doesnt reflect on the hotel to me. If you're in Frankfurt for more than a few nights, go further into the city or rent an apartment ... hva folk sier » (airbnb). But for a layover, you don't want to go further than Hbf for convience. We arrived at 6pm. We took the S-bahn 3 stops to Hbf, walked one blo - About 100 meters from Frankfurt’s main station. Friendly staff. Super modern and clean rooms; the toilet especially with new elegant fittings. Hi-speed Wifi. Hot drink facilities even in the single rooms. Outside on the streets: prostitutes, drug dealers, mayhem. A suitable hotel for a blitz biz trip only.

  Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was lovely. Location was great for the train station, the city and the airport bus. Definitely would stay there again if we return to Frankfurt. - lovely hotel with excellent staff. great breakfast !
