  Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke good English. There was wi-fi available and they served a varied and good breakfast, which was included in the price. Room was small, but comfy, with street view. They've cleaned and arranged the room every day.   Very chic hotel with fancy decoration - only paid 105 € a night for a single room in august 2008 - quite cheap - chic area with nice boutiques and restaurant plus near to Alster Lake - Gorgeous view from our room over the breakfast patio.   Location was great for the Schanze area nightlife, was nice hotel, large clean room and bathroom. - Very clean friendly hotel and very close to nightlife in Hamburg. I'd recommend the Fish Market on Sunday morning which was had live bands on from about 8am.

The swimmingpool and fitnessroom nearby was also enough for one's satisfaction.The instructor there (man and woman) were definitely kind. - Very comfortable room, great breakfast selection, friendly staff, excellent range of equipment in the fitness room.
