  The staff was very helpful and friendly and even washed my hoodie, returning it to me within a few hours without charge. (The weather was unseasonably cold during our visit).   The hotel is very clean and located right next to the central train station. The staff is very friendly. The room is quite big. Reasonable price. I would stay there again. - There was a lot of variety in the breakfast every morning and the room was clean, if a little on the small side by American standards. I would stay here again.

  We were staying in xl Art room overlooking the River Rhine. It was well worth the money, as we booked well in advance. Tram stop very close, easy to reach Koelnmesse, shopping area/centre only 15 min. On foot. Room size was great, and clean. Added bonus: coffee maker (tablet). Fare is approx 24-26 Euros to Cologne airport. - Most of the staff were very friendly&helpful. The room was superb, very spacious& the decor was very funky&modern, bed was lovely&comfortable.the location is great only a 5 min walk to the old town along the river with some great places to eat&enjoy a few drinks. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
