Nice feel to layout of room and lobby.
Each time I went to the reception desk it was unattended and delayed me. This fact alone let the hotel down.
Dinner in the empty diningroom was exellent.
Breakfast was amazing. The range of items available was excellent. The room was large and comfortable. The underground parking was practical. The room safe was large enough for a laptop.
The view from the room was disappointing. It was a view on a small inner courtyard where employees took their cigarette breaks. The bath was very high, older or smaller people would find it difficult to get their leg over. For the "Telekom" internet hotspot, a card needed to be purchased for each device (laptop, ipad, iphone), or it could be used on different devices but not at the same time.

Air conditionning turned the room so cold even after trying to fix it. You are not told systematically that you can access internet with a link in your room without paying wifi....
The hotel was ideally located for our purposes and was very smart. The breakfast was exceptional.
Very nice hotel, recently renovated. We had a big room and enjoyed a lot our staying. The hotel has its own parking facilities (there is also plenty of public parking in the surrounding) and a tram station nearby: perfect combination! The breakfast was very nice. We got a last minute smart deal, it was very good value for money.
Hotel is very modern. Rennovated a building of 100yrs old. Excellent rooms. Breakfast was one of the best breakfast i ever had. Public transportation just about 200meters away(deutz fachhochschule station) strongly recommend to all and i will definetely stay again.

Very clean room and bathroom! Great location, easy to get there by car.
Stayed there on a Sunday. When I wanted to order roomservice after 9pm, they told me their kitchen is closed on Sunday evenings. Not acceptable in my opinion for a hotel such as this. Didn't see any notification of this fact on their menu card either.

Twin beds are not real twins, pushed up next each other and framed by furniture so really just a double bed. No hot drinks in the room.

Most helpful English speaking receptionist put great effort into sorting out bookings for Air travel for us. Was help above & beyond reasonable expectations !!! Definitely put "the icing on the cake" for our stay in Cologne

Location was a walk from everywhere. For the price, would expect a swimming pool (especially as it's a converted old swimming pool!) or a gym.
