  Warm welcome. We really enjoyed the wine tasting, having looked round the cellars. We also liked the way they sit you in mixed groups at the dinner table (we sat with Polish, French, Japanese and Dutch couples) and shared many bottles of the family-produced wine!! Good food. Room was clean and comfortable but rustic as opposed to modern. - The Domain is only a few kilometres from Auxerre but you are in the rural environment of the countryside. The Domain is steeped in history and visit the cave for degustation is a must. The Domain Borgnat is not a five star hotel but gives a great experience to visitors wanting to see the real France and enjoy the company of fellow travellers. Regine is a wonderful host and Orlin prepares some of the best food we have had in France.

  Location for walking around the old town. Parking was plentiful and on site, rare for an in town hotel in France. - The hotel was quiet, clean and reasonably priced. Staff were courteous and the food was good with good service.

  Very nice hotel- right on the river. Our room overlooked the river - Helpful staff. Good size room with firm, comfortable spacious beds. Good location both for pleasant river view and walking into the old town.

  When I orginally booked the hotel , I received a instant email from them & were more than happy to take the dog. I arrived & I was given a big welcome by the owners & instantly taken by a charming young lady Blaudine to the lockup garage -- she was most cheerful & very helpful in taking Rhum & the luggage & helping me to pa... hva folk sier » rk the car. They also insisted that I took Rhum into the dining room when he was given a bowl of water -- luckily he behaved himself !! The meal , win - The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. Good restaurant, typical French atmosphere, excellent service. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Very nice courtyard area where we sat out for an aperitif one evening, but I imagine on summer evenings it is very pleasant to eat in the courtyard. Good value for money, would recommend and will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.
