  An outstanding choice for a bed and breakfast location in Amboise in the Loire Valley. Excellent location close to the major walking street shops and excellent restaurants as well as the chateau and Clos de Luce -the Da Vinci house,Tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated comfortable accomodations and a magnificent walled garden and swimmin... hva folk sier » g pool. Excellent breakfast and a wonderful ambience throughout. However the most oustanding aspect of Au Charme Rabelaisien was our hostess Sylvie wh - This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. Extremely helpful and obliging , with a wonderful bubbly personality. Would rate this as the best B & B we h

  Set in its own grounds, very peaceful, excellent parking. Our room was excellent, large and spacious with good facilities. The food was excellent, although the menu was limited and didn't change for the three nights we were there. Tours is a very upmarket and cosmopolitan area with lots of historical sites. A good base for the Loire Valley and... hva folk sier » Chateaus. - Beautiful, very relaxing, great to wind down after a few days on the road. In it's own grounds and away from the city. Food was very good and with a nice wine what more do you need. Spa very good but book in advance, also kitchen very busy so if you want to eay early book also. Staff very nice and very helpful.
