  The staff was exceptionally helpful and all spoke English. It was right next to the metro station and on the main metro line - very easy to travel anywhere. The price was very inexpensive for Paris, and the rooms were very clean, modern, spacious, etc. It is in Bastille, and it is a very exciting part of town. Location is very good: 1min walk to Voltaire Metro station (just around the corner) and 30min - Don’t let yourself be deterred by the somewhat eclectic interior decoration, the hotel offers for Paris standards a great bang for your buck ratio. Rooms are small but clean, and staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming. Metro stops Ambroise and Voltaire are within 3 minutes walking distance while place de la Bastille is a mere 6 minutes away by foot. On your way to Bastille is the lively Rue de la Roquette with plenty of nice little restaurants and bars.
