  Staff at the hotel were very friendly and spoke very good English. The location of the hotel was very convenient and there were lots nice restaurants and a supermarket located close by. The buffet breakfast had good variety and quality of food please. - I think it was a very good hotel, friendly people!! Which is a big oplus for Paris :-) and a g... hva folk sier » ood location!   As an academic I have attended conferences all over Europe and beyond. I always book 3 star hotels, as I prefer the personal touch which I find missing in 4 or 5 star places. The 3 star hotels near the congress venues (the Odeon and Paris Diderot University) were all booked, so I went for this one - and I am so glad I did! All that was promised wa... hva folk sier » s delivered - a spotlessly clean and very welcoming double room single occupancy, bathroom ensuite, very comfortable bed, crisp linen, towels changed - We paid a bit extra for the 7th floor suite, well worth it, the staff were extremely helpful & the rooms serviced every day.breakfast was typical French but filling. Only 4.5 ks from the Eiffel Tower & the same from the louvre. Probably one of the cheapest hotels in Paris.

  The room was clean when we checked in and was cleaned during the days. All of the personel were helpful and was polite accept one. Quite nice location, not in the center but not to far away from the sights. - The helpfullness of one of the reception staff who served us breakfast before 7h00 which is the usual timing.

  We had really wonderful stay in Hotel, just want to say that the bathroom was huge and room as well. The area was perfect, just 7 minutes from the Eiffel Tower Area by metro train. - Staff at the Derby was helpful, can speak good English and polite.
