  The location was great - a short walk from Gare du Nord, close to many good budget-minded cafes, and incredible jazz clubs. The view from the sixth floor (i.e. seventh) was wonderful. Close to a couple of metro station. 2. Excellent staff - helpful, friendly, English-speaking. When we had to leave earlier, the receptionist himself served us breakfast with just-from-the-bakery croissants and baguettes. 3. Public kitchen is a good thing. 4. Rather nice facilities for the money, good beds, nice breakfast.

  The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was someone on the front desk 24-7. The rooms were a decent size, with a good shower room, and were very clean and in good condition. Turn left when you leave the hotel and go up the hill and you are in Montmarte, lots of nice cafes and bars, in a typical Parisian setting. A 5 minute walk away from Sacre- Coeur. My single room was quite small, but there were all things I needed: a bed, a table and a handbasin. The shared shower is avaiable from 6 am to 11 pm. Don't worry, you won't queue. WC is clean.
