The hotel is really good location to walk from as a base. The area was good. Whilst the hotel is not on the prettiest street, it's only a couple of streets away from lots of good restaurants, shops and cafés and is literally at the exit to the station. You cannot get lost. Fantastic location within easy walking distance to the Pompidou, Louvre, Notre Dame and all the restaurants and bars in the Latin Quarter. I was on my own, going out every night and felt perfectly safe walking the streets back late. The hotel is surrounded by cafes and bars perfect for breakfast or dinner if you werent up for straying too far after a full day of exploring the city. The staff were lovely even the poor night staff who had to come down from reception late every night to let me in.

A friend of mine lived in Paris for a while, so he helped me find a good neighborhood/area of the city to find a hotel. When I found Hotel Bellan in one of the areas he suggested, it seemed like a perfect fit. The price sounded good, the photos looked nice, and the reviews were pretty good. The staff is really helpful and correct, they all try to do their best for you and your family (call for the transfer, e.g.). very nice. The breakfast they offer is great: hot drinks are delicious
and croissants and baguettes very good, too. The hotel is in the center
of Paris: ten blocks away from Ile de la cité, Notre Dame, the Louvre;
very close to Rue St Denis, Rue Montorgueil and Rue St Martin (which
are very lively at night and not dangerous at all), close to museums
and churches, and accessible to any train station or metro station.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and English was always available. The location was great, a few blocks from the Louvre, We walked most places and used the Metro at times and took the RER to Versailles. All these were close and good restaurants too. Would love to come back. -

This is a truly lovely budget hotel. At around €100 a night for a decent-
sized room with a private bathroom and shower, this is a great deal for
the location. We walked there from Gare du Nord; it's also very

helpful and there is a small lift in the hotel.

across the road was Rue De La Huchence and our hotel. Contrary to

The area this hotel is in excellent, and close to the metro (1 minute away). The staff are pleasant to deal with and very helpful. The rooms could use some updating, the furnishings were older but the beds were in good condition and clean. The bathrooms had the most upgrading, but our shower in the twin room was missing a hook for the shower head so we had to tie the shower head to the pipe in order to have a hands-free shower. The water pressure was good. The free use of computer in the lobby

Near to M3 ( Bourse station ), M8 & M9 ( Grand Boulevards Station ) to start your paris expedition. But hey who cares for the trains, you can walk around until you reach at eiffel tower. Isnt it amazing? The reception on duty were very accomodating esp the guy, i forget the name "sorry" who always has a smile whenever we ask a hot water everytime we arrive late in the evening.
