The staff at aragon were really friendly so even though we were unlucky with the weather they lent us umbrellas. The location is excellent a 2 minute walk to the medieval castle entrance. The hotel was very well kept with a lovely clean pool area and hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate out but overall

The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The bedroom on the first floor looked out on the Old City & the view was stupendous day or night. The swimming pool was faultless and a sun-trap for those who want it with some shaded areas. The hotel was very close to the Old City and a five minute walk away. The city of Carcassonne was a twenty minute walk into town and the car was not required after arrival.

For those who cannot walk to far, there is the local tourist train that leaves from the doorstep and takes you directly to the Old City. wanted something that wasn't like every other hotel chain. Quirky
and very different from your chain hotels. Our room was quite big for a
French hotel and the decor was as we expected. We stayed in room 23. The
breakfast was French as you would expect and all the staff were polite
and friendly.

The staff were without fail helpful, friendly and cheerful.
The accommodation was perfect for our purposes - a comfortable, clean, convenient, modern place to stop over whilst touristing! Our second visit. We recommend it without hesitation!
We also recommend, very close by, L'oeil, le Resto, for a very good traditional Southern meal.

The Manager and staff were polite, helpful and friendly. I left my PC charger in the room and they were good even enough to post it back to me at my home address. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The shower room and WC were tired and really needed replacing but having said that for a stop over night it was perfectly adequate.

Nice ancient building, 15-20 mins pleasant walk to the fortified citadel. Very nice coloured and well decorated rooms (our quadruple was very spacious and comfortable). Breakfast buffet was good, even if nothing spectacular. Family management extremely kind and helpful. Parking in front of the hotel is free from 18 to 9, and it is easy to find a place close to the entrance. Not expensive during the day.

Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay! La Villa B&B was wonderful. Madame Flo and Jean-Michel were very helpful and friendly. Patient with my attempt at the French language, but conversed well with my partner who's French is far better than mine. We stayed in two different room and both were spotlessly clean and tidy, with a lot of thought going in to the decor and design. fabulous breakfasts!
