  We stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais from the Vendee. It is in an ideal location, not far from Bayeux and the Normandy Beaches. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by Giles and Michel, they showed us around their beautiful garden and conservatory and then up to our room. The decor is very tasteful with a modern en-suite bathroom with shower and bath and fluffy towels. We we - Chambres d'Hotes le Clos de la Croix is a beautiful bed-and-breakfast in a small picturesque village of Carcagny. We were given a warmhearted welcome from the very beginning of our visit - the same feeling stayed throughout the whole visit. The hosts, Gilles and Michael (and beautiful dog Galopin) are just amazing personalities. The room we stayed was spacious and tidy, and we did have our own bathroom with shower and tub.
