We were a group of 3 friends and went to see couple of ice hockey games during WCH 2013. The apartment was very clean well maintained, easy to find and quiet location. It had great amenities and it was furnished excelently. It was specious enough for family or group of 4 people, although it had one queen size bed and fold out couch which was quite big. We lived in fine designed apartments located in Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu, 1, opposite to Citykoti office on Malminkatu, 38. 5th floor, elevator available. It's really comfortably located - 10 min. to Kiasma (museum of contemporary art near the central railway station), 10 min. to Kamppi mall, so you live in center of Helsinki, yet it's really calm and quiet place. There's all necessary dishes and tableware, big fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron with ironing board. Small b.

The apartment itself was well furnished and spacious. Although a bit away from the bustle it is still a walking distance from city center.
There were some downsides which really did not bother us much but might be inconvenient for some people. First is the TV, which did have some basic programming but most of the channels were coded (we wanted to watch ice hockey and we couldnt). Second thing was the check-out time which was at 10:00. We tried to prolonged it but staff turned us politely down due to other guest arriving early evening..we thought that the check-out time should be around 12:00.
In my case guarantee payment (500 euro) was as twice as big as accommodation price. That's strange :)

No public transportation really near: tram and metro in Kamppi area at 500mt distance.

We didn't. Receive fresh towels on time but this was sorted later. And we didn't get parking from the company hence this resulted in a traffic fine!.
There is no public transport available nearby so luggage presents a problem. Taxi from railway station is your best choice.
