Just 300 metres from the Main Square, the newly built Chillout Hostel is set in the historic heart of Zagreb. Featuring a restaurant and a bar open 24/7, it offers colourful air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi and free use of a modern shared kitchen. The Chillout Hostel’s restaurant serves traditional Croatian dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Refreshment drinks and coffee are available at the bar. Some rooms comprise a private bathroom. Guests staying in dormitory rooms have a shared bathroom with shower and a hairdryer at their disposal. Rooms come with electronic locks and each bed features a locker. Pub crawls can be organised every night on different locations in Zagreb. Front desk can also organise trips. Laundry and shuttle services can be arranged upon request and at an extra charge. A grocery store, various resturants and bars can be found in the vicinity. The Britanski Square featuring a green market and taxi stop is 750 metres away. Locally popular antique fairs are held there every Sunday. Main Train Station is 1.5 km away, while the Zagreb Bus Station with numerous national and international links is 2.5 km from the Chillout Hostel. Zagreb Airport is 25 km away, and a shuttle bus connects it to the bus station.

alle vurderinger » I was an apartment to feel like at home and discover Chill Out Hostel and now is one of my houses :) thanks for everybody: Nikolina and Goran (directors) Mislav and Kresimir (comercial), Ivana and Mladen (kitchen), Filip,Matea,Jasna, Slavica (cleaning), Ana, for sure (animation) and the best recepcion thanks to Danijela, Martina, Dora, Lulu and Mariko. everything about it was great - air conditioning worked perfectly, hostel organised great trips including to the national park and a really good pub crawl, staff were really friendly and helped us find things to do both in and outside the city. rooms were very comfortable and one of the cleanest hostels i've ever stayed in. would definitely recommend!. First time in the hostel ever, ... I'm satisfied with what I saw. What really adds up to value of this hostel is location. Some complain about noise, not sure if that is new but I believe they solved that issue, as I didn't notice abnormal noise. Staff you were great, I send you all kisses :*. In the four bed dorm it felt a bit cramped when everyone and their bags were in, don't let it put you off but do stay neat and tidy!. Nothing major. The rooms are comfortable but a bit small. Nothing I can think of. the room wasnt as big as the photos suggest, and, to my surprise, there were no preety girls in the rooms as advertised (LOL). the only bad this for me was the almost constant music in the hallway which is a bit much if you want to relax. The main customer is definitely young people who enjoy partylife, but also for an older less partyfocused person it offers good value. Nothing. nothing major to report. Wifi network was not available in the dorm room. I had to go to the reception to use my iphone. No air-conditioning when I was there. nothing to report. Shower and bathroom facilities could do with more attention from the staff. Separate showers would be appreciated by grown-up travellers. Some irish guys ruined our 2nd nights' sleep with a "too prolongued" party. I had breakfast once which is okay but definitely not worth €4! The rooms are a bit too small. very noisy whole night. Room was a bit smaller than I expected. But that was offset by the many advantages. It is not the Hostel fault but the country law. Smoking is allowed in public places so people where smoking in the aisles and the smell come into the room. Too expensive bar (spirits are poorly little for that price range), overpriced breakfast with very poor coffee & cheap 'Dona' syrupe instead of juice, in the end you have to buy the normal coffee from the bar (which was also not very strong, I personally needed 4 x espresso every morning to get awake); maybe some free Nescafé would be good idea?. It was difficult to find this hostel and the room is mixed room and shower room is also using man and woman, so it was uncomfortable. - the bathroom in private room was dirty. Nothing If Chillout remain this quality. Non soundproof windows, Internet inconsistent connection. nothing. Its a little bit noisy!. Too much noise during the night because The major population its young people!. Very very noisy - expected to a point but not quite to the extent we experienced. We were offered ear plugs on check in which didn't bode well. Notices around the building asked for quiet after 10pm but this definitely wasn't the case and the staff did not enforce this courtesy. We booked a room with air conditioning - turned out the unit hadn't yet been wired in. Recommended for backpackers looking for a good time, not for couples wanting to enjoy the city and get a decent nights sleep/. A bit crowded and messed up. The bedroom was very small. It's a bit hard to get there by car, and they didn't explain me that (even if I sent an e-mail asking). It took me almost an hour to find the place. Too noisy. If you want to party, yes it's good, but otherwise the staff bearly could handle the drunk guys that were screeming in the hallways.
