  The apartment was great, excellent location and very spacious. It was an absolute bargain for what it was. The balcony overlooks part of the historic wall, could not have been better! We only stayed one night but would have been suitable for a longer stay as it had a washing machine and a great kitchen.   It is elegant but also very friendly and comfortable. The situation in the old town is full of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. I was on a winter break with my husband and I would recommend it highly.   This apartment is stunning, very spacious, very stylish and a pleasure to be in, so much so that we didn't want to go out! Really enjoyed this apartment, after the initial confusion with shop downstairs.   The best thing of all, and I think a little known secret is the rooftop terrace overlooking Dubrovnik. My husband and I would go up there at the end of 2 hot and sweaty days, and it was the perfect place to watch the sun set and the swallows swoop over that beautiful ancient city.   Loved our stay here! We actually cried when we had to leave! We booked a last minute night here, and didn't want to go to our scheduled hotel. The family who maintains the mansion could not have been warmer or more accommodating!   Location is great. Only few minutes away from Pile gate. So great for visiting the city or catch bus/taxi. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We had our own terrace - no specific view but lovely to be able to sit outside. Nice owners.   Up market !! - Location was perfect, being directly outside Old Town. Being so close toPile Gate also meant that it was a very short walk to the hotel aftergetting off the bus from the airport. The staff was extremely friendly -the lady who checked me in remembered my name throughout my stay and wasvery helpful!
