The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Concierge, Nicholas knows everything. He provided excellent recommendations for dining, made the reservations and provided directions. There are great dining options close to the hotel. The complimentary tea and coffee and cookies in the lounge 24 hours was a god -send after a day out in the Shanghai heat. Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

The location of the hotel cant be better. Right in the middle of the
city, on the famous pedestrian street nanjing road and next to
people's park. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich
and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our
room on the 37th floor as well.

The location of this hotel is perhaps only surpassed by its design. The rooms are something else here! Very well thought out, they could well be the best I ever stayed in. I would also be surprised if the pool did not get any design awards. Awe inspiring! -

From outside the hotel looks very unusual, like casino. location is excellent, 5 minutes walk to the subway, 10 minutes taxi-ride to the city center, a lot of places where to eat and the bank is next to the hotel. there is a massage place and a karaoke bar in the hotel. excellent place when you are travelling with friends. -
