Jerome was a gracious host and accommodated our every request. He freely picked us from the airport, drove us to the city a few times, and gave us great tips on where to eat. We also booked a paid tour of the island with him, and he added an extra itinerary, free, so that we wouldn't miss the Seven moais before our return flight. The hotel was modest, but clean, and with the best pricing when compared to other properties. The breakfast was simple, but good. I recommend enthusiastically hi. alle vurderinger »
The room & en suite was large, clean & comfortable & represented excellent value for money on Easter Island. Jermome was a superb host with excellent local knowledge & a real passion for for the island, which was infectious. We had a full day tour with him which was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble & he made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
Great location a short stroll from the town centre. Breakfast is included in the very competitive price. Jerome goes out of his way to make it a pleasant stay - free collection from airport, town tour and return to airport. He was also an expert guide for a comprehensive tour of the Island at a very reasonable price.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. All their recommendations were
spot on. This was the perfect budget minded hotel with an idealic
location at the base of Orongo. The room was clean and comfortable.
Jerome, originally from France, knows how to set out the perfect simple
French breakfast.
The meals were excellent and Jerome a perfect host. His guided tour was great and most informative. He went out of his way to assist us with our needs. Whilst the location is a short walk from the town, it is easily doable by foot. The location by the ocean and caves is good.
Although the price looks a bit high but if compare with the price of everything and every places in the island, it was quite cheap.
The place wae nice and comfort as a guesthouse and painted as polynesian color style.
Mr. Jerome was friendly and kind.
Everything was excellent.
Close to town and airport. You could see the ocean across the street and walk down to the cave. Jerome was a good host and helped with renting a car for 2 days... and you need a car to see the island without a guide. Great price and enjoyed the stay.
Jerome is a great host. His knowledge regarding the Moai is immense and it's clear he is passionate about ensuring travellers get the most from their time on Easter Island. He even went the extra mile with sorting bus tickets in Chile for us.
Jerome and his wife were lovely hosts. Jerome gave a wonderful tour of the island. The food was excellent and the beds were comfortable. Across the street to the best sunset spot and famous caves and a short 15 minute walk to Hanga Roa.
Jerome is a great host and a professional tour guide as well!! We had a really nice stay there and the free breakfast is very good! The hotel is only about 15 minutes by foot from the city, or you can take a taxi which is really cheap!.
The tour Jerome provides his guest. Great value, very clean and a wonderful host. Highly recommend taking Jerome's day long tour of the island.
Jerome, the owner. Airport transfers included Near to the town
Places to eat.
The staff are friendly.
Jerome is a kind, wonderful and incredibly helpful host who will go out of his way to help you. He really showed us the hospitality of Rapa Rui people (although he himself is French)!! The dinner provided at the hotel is very nice.
It's a great value for the area. The rooms are kept clean and Jerome is helpful. Breakfast was the same everyday but you get to eat as much as you wanted. Each room had a nice sitting area outside.
Breakfast was tasty and Jerome is very friendly.
Friendly service and nice dinner.
The showers weren't always hot.
I wish I could have stayed longer.
The stay could be improved with a more comfortable bed.
No complaints.
Slightly out of town location but accessible via walking or taxi so not a big problem.
We had a couple days of cold water and there was construction on the property while we were there.
Free wifi from the room worked, but was a little slow..
Location is a little out of town, 20 minute walk. Not a difficult walk....
Erratic shower plus wobbly toilets nd handbasin. Bugs++++ No air
conditioning, provided a fan on request. Poor breakfast, bread and
chocolate cake, juice, coffee.
The breakfast is very, very basic. All the guests at the hotel brought Cup-o-Noodles to the breakfast table to supplement the meal, which was pretty funny. There were tons of mosquitoes while we were there due to the rainfall the week before (we were told that normally there's none). Jerome gave us some repellent tablets but there were simply too many mosquitoes for the tablets to work properly!.
The location is a solid 20 min walk from Hanga Roa, quite long in the Easter Island heat and humidity. There's really nothing to eat/do around Jerome's so having a car is highly recommended.
The location is a little bit far from downtown.
Bit far out of Hanga Roa if you don't have our own transport.
