We stayed for a week in October, except for the rainy days everything else was close to perfect. Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive. ... hva folk sier » Raymond's (the concierge) gourmet recommendations. - the hotel was spotless. they seem to have given thought to every detail - design-wise, service-wise, taste and efficiency. the complimentary breakfast and hor douves are wonderful, not to mention the chocolates we got every afternoon. we have stayed in several hotels in the region - this is by far in a different league all together. we hope they manage to retain the high standards over time.

Arrived at the hotel after a 13 + hour flight from New Zealand. Was
given a friendly welcome upon arrival. We had the free wifi & keys
explained to us. Had a single room suite (room 908), room was nice and
tidy, beds firm and comfy, nice view. Fully equipped kitchen, which is
helpful if you are on a budget. On the tv there is a channel where you
can watch the laundry room live, which was odd at first, but made sense

We had the penthouse apartment. The space of having separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the full kitchen and living room was fantastic for a family with 2 college-age kids + 1 5 year old. Lovely friendly reception staff. When deciding on which room to have, I was asked if I wanted to see them and the chap was there within seconds, up to the 5th & 7th floors & back to reception in minutes. Excellently located, 5 mins' walk from city shops. Incredibly efficient! Good rooftop pool & spa. -

Danny and his staff were wonderful, very friendly and made up feel so comfortable and welcoming. O Canada is a beautiful old timber house in a great area of Vancouver and it is fitted out with gorgeous period furniture. The house does have a history which is also fascinating. We had the top room which required a few stairs to be climbed. Breakfast was hearty and filling, organic eggs, yoghurt and fresh orange juice. A real gem and we would recommend O Canada to anyone.

My room and the extra services that the staff did. Like at night, theywould put on my pillow the temperature for the night and the next daywith a bottle of water free of charge.... Can you say wow!!!!!!! - The location was central to the downtown area and made walking to our destinations easy. Shopping was just steps away.
