The location is just perfect. It is right in the center of the old city center (upper city). A perfect location to explore Salvador. The area the hotel is in is newly renovated and is safe to walk around freely during days and nights.

The hotel is charming. The staff are among the nicest, most helpful and
accommodating I've found in all my travelling. The room and bathroom
were spacious and clean, the bed could have slept 4 people! The location
of the hotel was great for tourists, shopping (although touristy
shopping mostly) and taxis were abundant and within a 1 minute walk.
Good restaurants were plentiful within walking distance as well.

the hotel is very close to an area with some nice restaurants and bars. the staff was very helpful, they have an afternoon soup for a snack. ocean is right across the street. but there are better locations with better beaches. we just took the bus or taxi to them. -

Nice location, nice view from the room. Great personal,, actually the European owners are so welcoming that you forget every negative detail about the city or your trip. They give the best advices, arrange airport transfer and nice chatting in many languages which you may not find in elsewhere in Salvador. They try to find solution for all special needs.
