  The hotel is a wonderful example of a boutique hotel. The superior room has wonderful old wooden floors, and is dressed in a plush colonial fashion. The rest of the hotel is modern and clean but still hold the feel of intamcy of a grand house.   the hotel is very close to an area with some nice restaurants and bars. the staff was very helpful, they have an afternoon soup for a snack. ocean is right across the street. but there are better locations with better beaches. we just took the bus or taxi to them. - The staff were all very helpful and made every effort to help when possible.
