The hosts were nice and very helpful. We had a good breakfast. 15 minutes walk from Pausada Casa Nova is in our opinion the most beautiful beach in buzios – praia ferradurinha.
While we have stayed in hostels in Europe, South East Asia, and now in Brazil, the service provided by Claudia and Willie was best in class. As non-Portuguese speakers, Claudia and Willie made calls for us and provided numerous recommendations during our 7 night stay. Our room was clean, bed comfortable, request for extra pillows wasn't a problem, and mini fridge was handy. The breakfast is simple but fresh with good coffee, fruit, baked goods, cold cuts, diy grilled sandwiches, and granola. Safety was not an issue here, as with all of Buzios. The neighbourhood is not directly in the Centre but a very quick shuttle ride ($r2) away. Our stay at CasaNova was great - we would love to return one day!
One critique - WiFi is not accessible from the rooms, but is available in the common area.
The staff were SO nice!! They helped us a lot and they were so so friendly.
The host ws friendly.
The place is a dump, unsuitable even for an overnight stay. Stay away.
