  The staff were really friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel was modern and arty. It was quite well located, only 10 minutes walk from the museum area/ Palais Real. The rooms were clean and comfortable- Breakfast was nice; there were plenty of cereals, bread, croissants and meat/cheese. It is located one street back from a main road and within reasonable walking distance to the main square. There are loads of restaurants very close to the hotel for all budgets including cheap healthy food alternatives which was nice for a change.

  Breakfast was excellent. - Mine was a business trip and as I dislike soulless hotel blocks I decided to give Hotel Le Berger a try. The hotel is well located for the European Parliament and Commission which were a brief walk away. The bed was comfortable and although there is no wardrobe for my one night stay hangers were perfect. Breakfast was excellent and was included in the most economical price I have ever come - the staffs are very friendly and helpful, there is always someone at the reception. They serve a generous breakfast buffet, and an authentic Italian menu for lunch and dinner. The hotel is located at 10 mins walking distance to the grande place et grand sablon. The beds are very confortable. It used to be a house of rendez-vous in the early 30's, they have kept that romantic feeling about it; some locals still book a room there every Friday at 2:30pm for the past 20 years..The hotel is busy
