In an expensive city such as Vienna, the hotel Pension Museum is a terrific find. We had obtained a room rate of 99 E. The hotel is well located - a block away from the U-3 subway which is the connector to the airport train...and also a block away from the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Leopold Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art. All staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. This includes everyone from the cleaners to the kitchen staff and the two staff manning reception.

- Comfortable beds (rather hard mattress which is a blessing for those who like/need it).

As we went to the Messe in Vienna, the place was perfect for it, we even went to it by feet and it took us about 20 minutes maximum. Also supermarkets to buy some food are in 5 minutes range by feet, same about restaurants, and just 15 minutes from the city centre by feet. It was easy to reach it also from the airport by train. Position: perfect. Even if we had a pushchair, we could easily reach two
metro stations belonging to two different lines (Taborstrasse-U2, Nestroyplatz-
U1) in a few minutes. We could also walk to Stephansplatz in less than
half a hour (and it was a very nice walk), and the Prater park is really
very close (less than 15min walking). A supermarket (Billa) is 50 m from
the apartment.

The hotel is pretty new, clean and furnished in a modern style. A great feature is the guest kitchen, which makes it possible to cook your own meals, or to store some food in the refrigerator. The staff was friendly, and spoke English very well. My room was quite large, nicely decorated and had a good Wi-Fi signal. The hotel is not in the very center of the city, but has good connections to public transport.

The staff at the front desk were available 24 hours a day and where friendly and helpful. The Pension is in the middle of everything-easy access to the sights and travel connections. The staff were very helpful and always on hand to answer enquiries. The breakfast buffet was really good-a great way to start the day, with plenty of choice. Good location (across the road from U-bahn station, i.e. subway). Good and friendly stuff. We had some problem because on the first day our floor was cleaned very early, at 7 a.m. I asked not to use vacuum cleaners before 8 a.m.. And it was possible, we weren't waked up by vacuum cleaners any more! Rather good breakfast. So great value for money.

The hotel is very well located, just opposite the entrance of the metro
"Alser Strasse". You can easily reach the centre also with
tram no. 43, which brings directly to the Ring in less than 10 minutes.
There is also free wi-fi. The price is very competitive, also during
Easter holidays: I will definitively return there next time in Wien. -
Location is good for public transport and bike rental as it is right across the street from the metro-station. Rooms re clean and staff was helpfull in finding a parking spot (4 km away in a P+R location) since we forgot to make a parking spot reservation. The P+R location was really cheap so we didn't really mind. The breakfast was okay.
