  We initially booked the large apartment for three nights at Haus Gerstbauer but liked the accommodation and location so much that we stayed an additional two nights.The owners go out of their way to help you, from offering tips on what to do in the area to introducing you to local cuisine. The local bus stop is only a five minute walk - The hospitality of the owners and their willingness to assist with information regarding the area were outstanding! Aggsbach Markt is a great base from which to explore the Wachau Valley, and even if you don't have a car it's relatively easy to get around due to the availability of excellent public transport.
