The unit was very suitable for my families needs, the ability to have the facilities to do our own meals if required was exceptional. The layout of the unit is very acceptable with bedrooms seperated from each other, all funnishings of a new standard. The Location of the appartments to the city was most appealing with public transport so close at hand. The couple running the appartments were very friendly & provided any information we ask for relating to places to go or where & when to .
alle vurderinger » The apartment contained everything that we could need and everything was in good condition. The street was quiet and it was nice to be hearing birdsong instead of traffic. The staff were helpful and seemed to care about giving good service and was a personal touch rather than what you would get staying in a large hotel. Although it is a distance out of the city (probably a 20-30 minute walk), there was a tram-line close by. The staff were extremely polite, helpful and always willing to assist when required. The apartments were spotless, very modern and a stones throw from the tram. One tram into the heart of the City and the same tram back. Off street parking was great and security in and out of the apratments were fantastic. Overall, excellent value for money and will be back again. Good location with easy access via tram into city. Unfortunately the walls were paper-thin so it was easy to hear neighbouring guests walking around and talking and TVs. Fortunately though it was at a time when the apartments weren't full and generally the other residents were considerate with noise. Mostly people with children were staying there (rather than party-goers) because there is a children's hospital close by. Very minor thing, but a lock on the back of the bathroom would have been good. Very small. Uselessly small bathroom sink. Supposed to be serviced weekly but although our bins were emptied every day our towels weren't changed (we washed them in supplied machines). "Very sensitive smoke alarm" warning signs made us very reluctant to cook and, indeed, the alarm went off one morning at 6am when someone fried some sausages in a different apartment. No elevator so staying on third floor may not suit some guests. The car parking is quite tight, which made me nervous with a bigger car. If you are staying on the top floor there are a few flights of stairs. This did not bother us but other travellers may not like it. There is no dishwasher but we did not spend much time in our room for eating anyway. Just other guests were a bit noisy. Nothing except for the sink in the bathroom, it is a little too small. heater was too loud had to turn it off over night hard to turn around in the turning area when others parked in there. The apartments are not very sound proof can hear a lot of sounds. - The lobby is very small - No seats in the lobby - In a two bed room apartment, only 1 shower & toilette available - The check out time is 10.00 a.m and can't be late checked out. Nothing. The parking turning bay was a little restrictive at times. We have a large vehicle and it was sometimes difficult to turn around. Walls were a little thin so I could hear people next door, but not enough to be a problem. Bathroom was small but still functional. No Lift !. One chair had a bent leg and our child fell off it. Nothing. Not within walking distance of centre but trams just around the corner. No elevator. Shower and bathroom too small. The bathroom/toilet is a bit cramped but acceptable. Key cards kept failing carrying heavy bags up stairs. The location. While the aprtments themselves are excellent, the location was not the best. It was in an out of the way area. Also, the area was somewhat run-down. There were no restaurants or shopping facilities anywhere close. We had to take the bus downtown for that. - small basin in bathroom - bad reception ( at times ) in main bedroom television. nothing. the toilet in same room as shower!. No lift. small sinks! but otherwise great facility. Stairs - difficult when you have heavy suitcases. Stairs. It wasn't a big problem but we were there for ten days and there wasn't any cupboard space for food. Insect/security window screens were in very poor condition on most of the windows in our appartment. In fact I couldn't close/lock the ones in my bedroom!!! Loose toilet seat - requires tightening. TV quality was disappointing/poor in the lounge room. Main bedroom was clear !!!. Nothing. Some helicopter noise from hospital. Bathroom and living room a little on the small side. Bathroom a little small Rooms not made up at weekends, which is when we were there There are no stairs, so if you have heavy suitcases be prepared!.
