The apartments we stayed in where a good size with a lovely balcony area & plenty of room to relax. We had views of the ocean across the road from us & the kids enjoyed the clean pool & heated spa. The parking was undercover & secure. We had a lovely stay & would stay there again without hesitation. Next time tho, we would love more than 2 days. The kids gave it a thumbs up as well!.
alle vurderinger » The location was good, close to great eateries and the beach, easy access to the theme parks. The reception staff were really friendly. The apartments were well set out and very clean. There was also a great BBQ kitchen close to the pool with all the utensils you needed. It is a great place for kids as the pool is really kiddy friendly. Would definatley return!. All the staff were very helpful. And friendly. The apartments we fantastic, very tidy and very roomy. The spa on the patio was fantastic, that was the first thing the children did when we got there. The complex was right across rd from beach, park and not far from Harbour Town Shopping centre. Fantastic. I enjoyed our stay at sandcastles. Not only me but the rest of the family too. I loved that it was kid friendly, which is important to me. I also loved that it is close to shopping centres, the beach and theme parks too. I'll definitely stay at sandcastles again. Thanks to such a friendly staff!!.. The location was excellent for us - we've stayed there before. The traffic could be a little noisy but not too bad. Walking into the lounge area and being able to see the Broadwater through the window made my day, everyday! The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. Loved the friendly staff the view from our room was wonderful. The hubby and I loved every minute it's a relaxing resort close to everything Thankyou we will be staying here again. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Every amenity provided for in it. The location was excellent and the front desk staff were so helpful for any queries or bookings we had. I liked the pool - it was better than most of the pools I have seen in motels in which we have stayed. I liked the office staff, they were very friendly and helpful. That the balcony was big and the spa. Everything we had the best time. Close to all facilities like shopping. Playground across road and beach. Great value. Superb value for money accomodation . The location however the road facing windows could be double glazed to reduce traffic noise. Facilities were good. All I could say is maybe a cover around to spa to block out rain and wind on over cast days. The unit complex is getting a little 'tired' - carpets, whitegoods etc. The fact that there was no lift, so even staying on the 1st floor was a bit difficult from the car park with luggage. Having said that, we are in our seventies, so this may not worry younger people. The traffic, but then I realised I had slept with the window open. Next night with window closed was fine. One had to pay for everything in the "games" room. Nothing but I do suggest if you cannot climb stairs do not go for a higher level unit. No lift. Stayed on first floor, not much of a problem, third floor might not be suitable for older travellers. Stairs! Great to keep fit but not if I had injury or disability. Carpet was worn,apart from that we could't really fault it. The apartments were decent however the light and fan in the second bedroom didnt work and nothing was done despite us telling the reception. A small detail but was frustrating. The games room was very limited and not suitable for young children. Pool needs to be heated. The fact that we had a 2nd floor apartment & my husband had a bad knee made it difficult climbing stairs . I would ask for ground floor next time. The pillows. Going up the stairs to the third level... No lift. A bit difficult to get in and out of. Everything is getting a little old and tired in the unit I stayed in noisy refrigerator very noisy and tired drier and washing machine. The bed lamp on one side had been damaged. Decent crockery is very cheap and the mugs are very scratched and need replacing. There were a few minor maintenance issues but these were resolved quickly and without any fuss. Rooms were very tired.frayed and marked carpets and mats. Rust falling off outdoor furniture every time chairs were moved. Not enough signage and details of 'how to get to your particular block'. - like some more details on the paper with keys if entry is after reception is closed. The balcony was not swept and contained three cigarette buts on the floor, the seats had broken arm rests with finger entrapment hazards, the air conditioner was not effective and the pool surround decking had several batten screws sticking up 3 to 4 mm, some very rusty, with real potential to lacerate soft feet before/after swimming. Extremely noisy within complex both nights of stay until way past midnight.
