We came as a group and booked both the "mansion" and the "coach house". Both were amazing - old houses on whose land I guess the other motel-like units were built. The staff and restaurant and restaurant staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. And the food especially at the restaurant - we had dinner - was some of the most delicious my partner and I ever tasted. And the view of the Derwent river was also brilliant. The ducks came right up to our back door and we could feed them. It was so peaceful and adorable.

We went to Tasmania for the history and staying at Cleburne Homestead certainly made is feel that we were living in it. We stayed in a lovely old former servants quarters built in 1820's. it was very clean and bed was so comfortable! The whole setting of the place was absolutely beautiful! The owners were lovely and ever so helpful. Highly recommending this to our friends and family! aaaaaa+

Very close to city. Even closer to Botanical Gardens. Very cheap. Parking at the motel with extra security door from outside. Our room had a kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave. There was also access to a kitchen if you wanted to do more serious cooking. The room had a fan and a heater. Laundry facilities. -

The staff was amazing friendly. We booked very late on the same night we were staying and ended up showing up after office hours. They not only let us in, but after realizing the room we had booked was not cleaned, upgraded us to a better accommodation for no extra charge. Can't express enough how thankful we are. -
