This is such a gorgeous cosy house! Brilliant location ten mins from the south bank. Everyone that stayed there the same time as us were all really friendly. No late noise or traffic noise. The house is lovely and our room (10) was brill, very cute almost like staying at your nans house, lovely extras as well such as free Internet. All in all can't say a bad word about the place. Relaxed, homely atmosphere. We checked in very late at night but the managers were very thoughtful and made sure we had no trouble getting in. The location is excellent. We also used the free bikes and went on a very nice early morning bike ride. Very happy with our stay.
alle vurderinger » Wonderful old building. All very clean. Large spacious kitchen. Met and chatted with Don, a top man. I have travelled to many countires, this is the best of it's kind I have stayed in. Close to brisebane exhibition center where i had conference , quite and safe place even fo girl travel alone like me , really feel like home but better decorete than mine ^_^. Very nice guest house with old colonial decoration and clean rooms. Everything was prepared before my arrival and I even didn't see stuff during my stay. Loved the architecture and is well restored and maintained. Also a good thing to mix/mingle with other strangers..... outside of our comfort zone. Enjoyed the view from balcony, location. Bathrooms and Kitchen areas were great. Room was just what we wanted!! Would defo go again. close to local shops, princess alexander hospital, bus stops and southbank restaurants. Unusual accomadation! Very pleasant & worth price. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good location, quiet, friendly. The Minto Student house has a great homey feel and its high cielings and airy porches reminded me of staying in my Great Aunt's victorian home in the southern state of Arkansas when I was child. The atmoshere is relaxed and the large kitchen and common area are great places to socialize with the varied clientele. Both hosts are approachable and helpful. The Minto's location on Highgate Hill is just blocks from Vulture is close to buses and trains and an easy walk to the CBD. There are a couple d. The place is like a big family house, it looks very traditional, with a big kitchen, a big leaving room. The room was small but comfortable. the place was very cleaned and quiet. Free internet, free bicycle, a nice balcony to enjoy the sunset. It is 10 minutes walk from south bank train station. The open community layout was inviting and it almost works, except it relies on guests being considerate towards each other. Love the beautiful old house and the trusting attitude of the management towards its guests. Near to the city. Location. Easy access, no staff at all, key left in the room when arrived, large kitchen, large living room. Good location, comfortable room. N/a. It was a bit difficult finding the light switches as they are all old fashioned! Also, the amount of light in our room a bit inadequate but I guess that is a part of the old world charm!. Nothing. All good. No complains. Noisy location, and unfortunately noisy guests (and a screaming child) on the night I stayed and in the early morning. Toilets need urgent attention as they sound like a jet engine every time someone flushes. Sadly... I got very little sleep and that's what I needed so badly the night I stayed. Sometimes guests were noisey. Mosquitos they could do with screens. Security of the place; I.E., 24-hr front door accessible, hence not there, my room is next to kitchen, people were noisy, people were noisy when there was a sport match. This was more a hostel than guest house, and the shared bathroom did not have a lockable door. Described as a guest house. Turned up to be a backpack hostel. Did not meet any staff and no tour desk.
