  We stayed only two nights in Alice Springs and were very happy we had booked Alice Motor Inn. Gee, the manager was very helpful and friendly with good recommendations for dinner and places to shop. The motel is run by a family, and both Gee and Carmel are excellent hosts. We immediately felt welcomed and, judging for their attitude to us and what we observed in their interaction with other guests, nothing is too much trouble.   Manager Ray was excellent with his knowledge of the area and advice. We were seven of us and had booked for only two nights but we came back for third night on way back from Ayres Rock.
