The Old Pioneer Garden. I don’t know if I want to tell anyone about one of the best keep secrets and how Mitzi & David ( the innkeepers ) treated us like family and about the great home cooked breakfast with the farm fresh eggs. It was incredible. We got the best nights sleep ever. I felt like I had step back into time. I thought not having Internet and cell service would be hard. Boy was I wrong! It would have taken away from the beauty of this place. Don’t forget to bring your camera. I . alle beoordelingen »
I stayed there for 3 nights, shared a house with another guest, we cooked for ourselves, it was fun. rooms are very clean, quiet, very country. I took a lot of pictures there, beatful country side and origenal houses. David and Mescy are very nice and funy, dinner was very testy.
it was my best experience in America.
thank you David and Mescy!.
The place is magical. Located way out in the desert of NV, it is an oasis of quiet and tranquility. There are trees and a stream and all the rooms are in very beautifully restored rustic old houses. There are antiques and books and farm animals and good food provided by the very warm and generous innkeepers. It is a perfect place.
We stayed in The Fieldhouse which is a 150 year old farm house. It has tons of character, is full of bookshelves and books, and antique furnishings. The beds in our room were very comfortable with nice linens. Unfortunately we arrived too late to have dinner, but breakfast was wonderful. We loved it and we will be back.
David and Mitzy were wonderful and interesting people. They shared a fabulous dinner and breakfast with us and the cabins couldn't have been more stylish and comfortable. I can't wait to go back.
This is a unique experience in a Nevada mountain setting. It is great for a relaxing get-away in a rustic but comfortable large cabin (actually a house). The staff is friendly and personable.
The owner Dave and his mom Mitzi have a special touch in serving and bringing together their guests around a dinner table. Breakfast was a delight and meeting all the other guests was a treat.
The quiet serenity, hte wonderful bed, the quaint yester-year furnishings - a step back in time. We had a wonderful breakfast with our gracious hosts.
David and Mitzi are wonderful hosts. The buildings are in good shape for their age and location. Great place to truly "get away from it all.".
IT was what they said it was a farm ranch, great breakfast. Rural environment .nice people run it.
very quiet, good food, great hospitality, fun and rustic!, something for everyone.
this place is so nice and people are so friendly. I want to come back sgain.
It is a great place to unwind and relax. It's quiet and peaceful.
Not a thing. We had only regrets. We never saw anyone after we were let
through the door except to go tell them the air conditioning was still
not working. No breakfast, no ice, nothing.
There were not any curtains on the windows in the room we stayed in. However, there were curtains in the other room in which we had a choice to stay. The room with the curtains had a smaller bed(double) and we preferred the extra sleeping space(queen) but would have also liked the privacy of curtains.
Animals wandering around in kitchen and dining room while breakfast being made and served. I understand "animal friendly" locations, but their must be limitations to this allowance. This would be the only reason I would reconsider visiting again.
Everything turned off- air conditioning, refrigerator. No ice, no
coffee. No one to greet us/passer by, son asked me what I was doing.
I told him trying to check in. Asked to have air conditioning
fixed/Not. We were let in and just given a place to sleep. We were
the only ones there. We hated it.
