The staff was great !! The Manger on duty made sure all of our needs where taken care of.. He followed up with a personal visit. The bar was a great place to unwind!!! This place is a jewel that you shouldn't pass up !!!. I liked how you have full kitchen in the suite we stayed in and a restaraunt and bar in the lodge and the decor was very "up north" like. Very impressed with the staff! Had a great stay!.
alle beoordelingen » We liked the lake overlook and the jacuzzi. The room was very quiet, the indoor pool and indoor/outdoor hot tub were awesome. Affordable food choices nearby was great. King-size bed (so comfortable) Full deck with grill (gas) Bathtub (huge and clean) Kitchen (they have everything, dishwasher, soap, pots etc) tv/dvd Fireplace. Location-between Duluth and the boundary waters Two person Jacuzzi Nice firm bed Restaurant Nicer rooms than the pictures indicate. overall it was a wonderful experience. i'd definetely will be back.i will spread the word about the services that you provide. Whirlpool tub jets were not working, they fixed it in a timely manor. maintenance was very professional. I loved everything about the suite that we stayed in. It was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. Views of Lake Superior. Room had Jacuzzi and Fireplace. Very nice. Loved the lake view and the cleanliness of the space. It was a very new building that we stayed in. Beautiful location. The room décor. was nice and the room itself was very nice, but the king size bed was terrible, and for amount of money we paid, we were hoping for a more comfortable bed. Nothing.. The only thing I didn't really like was the noise that we heard from the pool area because our room patio was in the poolside so we had kids early morning noises and a little at night but not too bad. The onsite restaurant's food selection was quite costly and the food choices weren't that pleasing. Kitchen (stovetop only had high and low setting so I would bring an electric skillet, sink drained slow) Bathtub (jacuzzi didn't work/no bubbles) Couch (overall not a comfortable place to relax and the cushions could be cleaned). It is a very small point but is all that I can think of...I was there on a Thursday night and would have liked to have been able to watch the Thursday night football game on the NFL Network. walls and floors are too thin.our particular deck was to small. would love for the pricing to be a bit more budget friendly. The fact that the whirl pool tub was not working in the first place. Couldn't maid staff check it each time they are in the room and be more pro-active?. We ordered the taco pizza and the spinich and artichoch dip to enjoy in our room and both items were very disapointing. We should have sent them back. The pizza was discusting and soggy. The dip came in huge pieces and was not chopped up at all. We spent over $30 for food that we didn't eat. Avoid the restuarant!. Sheets were scratchy and had a stain. The foldout couch was very uncomfortable. Beds, pillows, shower pressure. And coffee maker didnt work. Away from main resort. Window opened which I liked but was behind curtain so no air got through. The toilet continually had problems. We also had an issue with the thermostat and asked for it to be fixed and they never came to fix it. It was our 15 year anniversary and I expected more from the facility. I would not choose to go again, even though we spent our honeymoon there. I was very underwhelmed by how the facility was!!. The King Size bed was terrible, and for the amount of money we paid, we were hoping for a nicer bed, and a better night sleep.
