The room and furnishings were beautiful, beautiful wood work original to the home. The breakfast was superb, along with the balcony that went with our room. We sat and relaxed after our long drive. The owners, one energetic, the other more laconic but droll, are there to help and give advice but they are not intrusive. The first floor, entirely open to guests, is friendly - I spent several hours reading in front of the fireplace. And, as the other - The breakfaast was delicious. We really enjoyed freshly bake pastries, and te poached pear in rasberry sauce. You have use of the living room and atrium. There is also a billiards table available for your use. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly.

The house is an interesting combination of early 19th century architecture and construction that has been well maintained and tastefully updated. It's a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.
