  What's not to like..Soon as you walk into Haiku Inn you feel welcome.A beautifully decorated home full of collected treasures, wonderful gardens of lush plants and majestic trees , lovely breakfast and plenty of areas to sit and relax.Only a 10 minute drive to Paia, for great shopping and beautiful food.Easy access for daily adventures including ... wat mensen zeggen » bicycling ,snorkelling or relaxing at the beach.Nothing was too much trouble and they even served tea in a tea pot! I didn't want to leave.and look fo - The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and bed was comfortable. Location was great, we didn't realize how close the Inn was to the road to Hana, this was a great plus. Sandy was a great host and it was nice to meet other travellers staying at the Inn. Side note - unlike most hotels it was very very dark and quiet at night, this made for a restful night's sleep!

  Another wonderful stay! Also this year I stayed 4 days in Garden Gate B&B. I fully confirm my previous reviews. An outstanding B&B. The owners, Steve and his wife Jeri, were very friendly and very helpfull giving advise on places to visit or dine and always willing to help you with your every need . Every morning we enjoyed wonderful break... wat mensen zeggen » fast , with fresh fruit and freshly baked pastries, surrounded by a beautiful garden and relaxing hawaian music. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable - We stayed in two different rooms on two different nights. The first room was the cheap basic room. That one was tiny but had all the amenities we needed. The second room was the private studio downstairs and was amazing with a kitchen, living room, and great amenities. I believe the price difference isn't too great between the rooms so I def would suggest the studio if you plan on being in your room a lot. The location was great- right down the street from the beach. Shopping was close by. Park

  Lovely breakfast with lots of fruit. There was always someone of the (very friendly) staff around whom we could bother with our questions. For $10 we could rent an underwater camera to take on our snorkelling tour - we even got a great shot of a sea-turtle! There was a ton of beach-gear that we could take with us on our excursions for no extra cos... wat mensen zeggen » t. Working wi-fi, nice spa, etc. etc. Luxury-wise the Guesthouse is better than any hotel, with the additional bonus that you are one of only a few pa - Tanna, the host, is a lovely person. You can borrow whatever you want... (snorkling gear, DVDs, Picnic gear...) You can use the house like it's your own. There is planty of soaps, shampoos, bathtowels for the beach, beach umbrella, beach chair for use... If you need help for booking anything, just ask Tanna. She knows the island like a grown up. And the most important is that you can sit in a hot tub after a long day out... just heaven

  Nice residential neighborhood, nice property with great beaches nearby. Tom, the owner met me on arrival. He was very freindly and helpful. Breakfasts were nice fruit, juice, bread and an egg dish each morning. Tom reviews what was done the day before and the plans and offers helpful ideas. Free wi-fi. - - location: close to the beach, but also strategic for exploring the island - breakfast: fruits, home made jam and bread, eggs, cereals etc - our room had a private lanai - the garden: trees, shade, flowers - owner: very helpful tips, friendly - parking space - available beach towels, chairs - good value for money
